Chapter 97 - Revision

Ignoring the uncomfortable feeling from the complicated stares of everyone in the room I delved deep into my thoughts to organize the past few events.

So Zamair only has suspicions that I know more about the incident and not if I had anything to do with it. Of course, this could just be a front, a mask that is hiding his true intentions but my reason should be enough to convince him. I never viewed Zantar as an enemy, he simply did not have the qualifications, he was just a person who annoyed me and gave me amusement and entertainment with nativity.

I think the royals knew of my thoughts regarding Zantar since I was never given a warning that I shouldn't kill him, due to my mysterious nature from an outsider's perspective I'm unpredictable I remember getting pleading glances from Nihasa and Nox when Zantar was egging me on, not knowing that I didn't even acknowledge the bastard's existence.

The only thing that has my mind still stuck on this issue is the state of Duan Ru Feng. I haven't heard a word from him since I left him with those final words to think about. I honestly want Duan Ru Feng to succeed, the guy has too much potential for it to be wasted on a backwater world such as Genesis, it's a shame I can't take him to the Primeval Universe with me. But I think he should be able to get there in the future.

I should probably just try to comprehend my Mortal Dao. That's the last restriction holding me back from the Realm of Dao anyway, I'm already building up arcana so the next time I break through in Arcana Cultivation I shoot straight into the Realm of Dao.

The only question is what should I make my Mortal Dao? The Mortal Dao of Wisdom is a no-brainer, especially with my abyssal heritage since abyssal demons know damn near everything at birth this would just elevate my scheming and deduction abilities and that's only the tip of the iceberg.

My only problem is that I don't want that to be my only Mortal Dao. One can only form a Mortal Dao once as it is a life-changing moment for a cultivator, there are even cultivators who gave reached Demi-God who haven't even formed one yet. The earlier a cultivator forms their Mortal Dao the better and easier their cultivation journey.

I want to have three or four Mortal Daos and I only have two on my mind so far which are Wisdom and War. I'll put more thought into it but if I can't think of anything else I will just go with Wisdom and War but I'm sure I can think of something before the games going on in the shadows reach their climax.

I came out of my thoughts and turned my attention to the multiple psionic images playing live images of what was going on in the academy. They were throughout the entire academy catching almost everything that was going on in the academy. Students were killing, robbing, extorting, sacrificing, and raping. All atrocities were caught in 4k quality, if anyone else were in my position right now they would record this with a shit-eating grin on their face.

This was a live recording of blackmail off all elites of the Federation, whoever had control over this would have the power to order around the Federation's best and brightest. Of course, that was if they were even allowed to come into this room without getting killed before they even realized that they have died. I'm an exception here and the fact that I'm not recording is probably making my presence more tolerable.

There was one monitor that caught my eye though and that was the image with Talia on it. She was surrounded by members of the Immortal Blood Sect, this seemed to be a high-class squad as everyone we between the mid stages of Nascent Soul and the high stages of Heavenly Transformation.

This would be the first time that I would be seeing Talia in combat, the only one I had little to no know information about. My original intention was for me to watching her in action from first hand experience but I guess this will do.

While my attention was focused on the standoff between the extermination squad and the Dark Phoenix princess I sensed someone getting closer to me. I didn't need to turn my head, their aura and scent was more than enough.

"It seems that you have gained and interest in my daughter, Asuran Prince." Said a soft and alluring voice that still carried and tone of grace and elegance.

"You could say that I guess." I responded still not turning my head, I smiled and shook my head, "What does the Empress of the Dark Phoenix Clan want to discuss with me." I asked.

"Well nothing to discuss perse, I just want to get to know you and thought this was the beast time. You are a hard man to get in contact after all."

I finally turned my head and looked at the beautiful heterochromatic vermillion-violet eyes woman who seemed to be the definition of perfection and gave me a smile that would make most men faint as she sat alluringly in her seat that was next to mine.

"My question is why me? There is seven of us you could've talked to, well six now thanks to Zantar being crippled but I'm sure that you wouldn't have given him any of your time even is he was healthy." I said as I turned back to the monitor where the tension between Talia and her attackers was rising to a fever pitch.

"You've had my interest for a while Hakari. Sure the rest of the seven are monsters in their own right but you are different from the rest. I knew that from the first time I saw you." Tala explained as she moved closer to me.

I suddenly put my hand on her thick thigh, stopping her movements but before she could say anything I smiled at her and pointed towards the monitored that had the images of Talia and her attackers, "We'll continue this conversation later but for now let's just watch. It seems like you daughter is finally about to start fighting."
