Chapter 93 - Samyaza and Hakari

"Come on aren't you happy that I'm not killing you right now?" Samyaza asked as he waved his hand, making Priya's body disappear to where I'm guessing is back to the Nines.

Not answering the Fallens question immediately I stared at him as numerous thoughts came surging through my mind.

It was clear that Samyaza used Priya as bait to set up this meeting with me, I should've seen it but it seems I was too wrapped up in what was going on currently. But from what I can guess based on what is in front of me so far I can say that Samyaza has been here for a long time, a very whether. As for whether he has been here longer than Azrael and even if he knows he's here is still a mystery.

The Fallen were weird, very weird but I guess that comes with staying at the peak and being alive for long. They were bound to develop some personalities.

"If you wanted to kill me Samyaza you would've done it already but since you have gained an interest in me you have been letting me live no matter how mad you get due to your daughter's growing interest in me," I replied with a smile on my face.

Samyaza smirked and his eyes narrowed and I felt a pricing sting in my soul from that gaze, "Correct. But that doesn't mean I can't make things hard for you, after all, I do want to see how far you can go. Besides, who wouldn't be interested in you, an Abyssal Demon able to roam free throughout the 99 Heavens, something that is impossible due to Father's rule."

"I know that my brother has been in contact with you so you don't need to hide it from me" The Watcher revealed, somehow not surprising me.

I shook my head at my naivety, "If that's the case then I won't hold back then. How many of you guys are here? I already know that a devil has been here for a while and that Azrael is collecting all the souls of the people who have died."

Samyaza scoffed, "Why do want to know?"

"Honestly, purely for my curiosity. Nothing more, nothing less." I replied with a smile.

"Bullshit." The Fallen curtly replied, "You expect me to believe that you have no interest in getting involved in what is happening behind the scenes in the academy?"

My smile thinned as I knew I wouldn't be able to cap my way out of this one. I would be an idiot to not have an interest in what all these higher beings are after in Genesis but what qualification did I have to interfere? In this cruel cultivation world strength is everything and I'm still a lowly mortal while all these beings would be elder gods at the very least.

Also him bringing this up should be bait for me to catch some interest and that will eventually end up with me making a deal with the Fallen, something that I want to avoid at all cost.

Besides even if I did have the strength I do not want to make enemies with that many people. But that doesn't matter, for now, I need to make it seem like I'm interested. I can't let Samyaza or any of the Fallen find out about my plans to leave

"I am. But what qualifications do I have? I'm merely a mortal, even if I was a mid-god I would still be an ant, and don't try to offer me a deal I won't accept."

Samyaza smiled as if he didn't hear my words, "You sure you won't reconsider?"

Before I answered I sensed multiple auras that seemed both familiar and unfamiliar not far from here and smiled, "I'm good. But can you do me favor and send me to that location real quick?" I asked while pointing to the area where I sensed the auras.

Samyaza's face turned red with rage, "You fucking prick you're foundational dao is the Dao of Space! Crossing that distance is like crossing the street."

"That is true. But the only difference here is that this is a very long street to cross and that would be way too tiring and time-consuming."

"You have the Dao of Space!"

"Bruh, you're a damn Fallen! Just wave your hand and I'll be there. You won't even be using arcana, stop being stingy."

Steam almost come out of Samyaza's ears from rage, "Fine, but you have to do me a favor." he demanded with a smile.

"Fuck no. You're tweaking." I denied, shaking my head, "But I won't go near your daughter for three years. Sounds like a good deal to me."

"Fine."

"Deal. Send Priya my best though. Also, did you really engage her with that man?" I asked, to this day I still can't believe that.

"Damn right I did. That's what the ungrateful brat gets, now we'll see if she has time to sneak off and run to you when she is busy with him." Smayaza admitted with pride.

I chucked and shook my head, "You're a foul man." I said as he waved his hand and my vision blurred and was greeted by a door.

Sensing the auras as clear as day I smiled and looked through my spiral ring to get a new set of black assassin robes. After getting dressed I tied my obsidian hair into a neat ponytail and walked towards the door and pushed it open, greeting the shocked occupants inside.

"So this is where you all have been." I said with a smile as I traced my eyes over everyone in the room and the smile grew even wider as my eyes stayed on a specific person while the other looked at me like he wanted to skin me alive, "Well come one at least get me a chair so I can see the chaos as well. I need to relax expeditiously, I've been doing nothing but killing for the past two weeks."
