"Heyy!!!!!"An exciting scream erupts from the crowd, as they rejoice in the safe return of their princess.
When the introduction of the princesses ended, the king left with his daughters leaving his subject to celebrate as much as they could. When they were tired and their throat sore from shouting and singing, they began to disperse one after the other until there was no one left leaving the place in absolute tranquillity.

Princess Delva and Bonnie were walking around the palace, accompanied by four guards and two maids. They were touring around the palace when a guard approached them.
" Greetings my princesses, the king demands your presence." He bowed.
"Now?"Bonnie asked, a bit sad.
" Yes, my princess." He replied.
" But I'm enjoying the view and the fresh air." She whined.
"He wants to show you something, princess. Please, do come with me"
"But I.."
"Just stop whining like a kid and tag along. Father demands our presence." Delva deadpan.
Bonnie rolls her eyes and follows them anyway.
When they were near the throne, they saw the king standing at the door with one guard waiting for them.
"Father, you interrupted our walk," Bonnie complained, frowning.
"Sorry my dear, but I'm about to surprise you with something more interesting than the walk. And besides, you're free to take a walk around the palace anytime you want."
"Ok father. Can you show us that now?" She said and hocked her hand around the king's arm.
The King nodded.
"Father, it better be worth it." The king smiled."I won't like to waste my time on something useless."Delva added slowly but they heard her.
Bonnie scoffed, "Always grumpy." She murmured. then turned to the king."Father. Won't you give us a hint about to this your surprise?"
"Surprise shouldn't be revealed but I'll tell you"He paused. Only when we get there." He laughed when Bonnie squeezed her face.
"Ahh! Father. You...."
"We're here."
"Woooh! Palace lab." She read out the inscription on the wall.
"Yes dear. It was built 15years back but wasn't in use until the past ten years."
"Oh, I see."
"Come dears, let go inside."He urged, Holding the door handle when Bonnie's voice halted him.
"Father, please go ahead with Delva, I left my phone. I'll go pick it."
"The guard will pick it up for you. Come."
"But father. I also need to pee."
"Alright, my dear. Carry on."Bonnie turned and left with one of the guards following her behind leaving only the king, Delva, and one guard.
They enter the room and Delva is shocked to see a huge animal with beautiful white furs covering every inch of the body except the face.
But to her greatest surprise, the cute animal was shackled in a silver chain. Two chains were shackled on his legs and hands, and were tied together on a pillar built close to the iron-silver coated bed he laid.
She walked closer and was astonished to see a human head attached to the animal body" O.M.G!" She exclaimed, shocked." Father, what the hell is this.``
She pointed looking frantically at her father with shocked-filled eyes. Shes was lost with words. She doesn't know what to say.
"Relax dear. Don't be scared. It's just a wolf ."
"A wolf!? Wait. Father, you're Joking right."
"No my dear."
"Okay, let me get you. This is an animal called 'wolf."
The king nodded.
"Your scientists caught it and are using it for an experiment by attaching a human head to it, right?." She asked, hoping that her father would affirmed to that.
But she was disappointed when he shook his head."Not really, dear. This animal is a wolf and they are called shifters. Which means they can change form. They could live like animals, they could also live as humans."
"Wait, please. My head is spinning, father. You are saying that those fictional animals changing to humans and humans changing to animal books Bonnie read all the time is fucking real, not fiction?"
"Yes dear. And I won't believe it either, if I don't have one in my possession."
"Wow. For the first time in my life, I'm shocked and surprised at the same time."She admitted meekly.
"That was how I was when I first saw it."The king .second
"But father, why is it shackled? And how did you know so much about it."
"The chains are to hold him in place. And I get to know through the scientists. They told me."He replied calmly.
"He is pale. Why, father? Is he sick? It's he, right?" She asked not sure of the gender.
"Yes.A very powerful male. He killed more than twenty of my guards when he was brought here to the palace. we have to shackle him with a silver chain to weaken him."
"Is that why he's like this?"
"No."He puffed out air and walked closer to his daughter."
The doctors were experimenting on him. Maybe the experiment or injected drug was too much for his system, he fell into a coma."
"How long, father?"
"Ten years, "The king replied, pissed off. If he didn't he would have produce more of it.
" Ten years? That's a long time to be asleep."
"Exactly."
"Didn't the palace doctor try to revive him?"
"They did. I even employ the services of other doctors but still to no avail. All possible efforts made to wake him up failed. The last doctors I employed said that if we continue to force him to wake, he might never wake again. I don't want him dead. I need to produce more of him. When more of him is under me, I'll be the most powerful king in the whole world and other kingdoms will be under me. They shall bow and worship me like their only god." He said.
Delva affirmed."Don't worry father, I'm back, and together we would try to wake him up. If he's the one who would make you powerful. Then we shall do everything to wake him. Because you, father. deserve to be the lord of the world. "
She exaggerated.
And a beautiful smiled spread through the King face.
He beamed.
"Of course dear. You are..."
The door opened suddenly and Bonnie rushed in."Sorry father,I took so long. What did I miss?"
"That. "Delva pointed at the iron-silver chain bed where the wolf laid in it half form . She followed her hand and saw a beautiful dog lying there and white furs covering it whole body.
A cute dog , she thought and raised her head up to glance up at the upper part of the dog only to see a human Head. She walked closer and saw that the head was attached to the dogs neck.
'A dog with a human head.'she thought but gasped immediately when realisation hit her.It isn't a dog."
"A wolf!!."She shouted surprised and shocked. " It a fucking real wolf!!"
Excited she looked up at her sister And saw her smirking at her.
She took her eyes away and look at the king who was watching her surprised -shocked face calmly.She took in a deep breath to calm herself down.
She's super excited, seeing a real wolf.
She has been a sucker for shifters book and have always long to see them in real life other than stories but she wasn't sure they existed.
Now , she couldn't describe the emotions running into her after getting to see the one thing everyone thought to be fiction. A changling.The most desired thing she ever wanted to see and touch.
She went closer to touch it,
"Don't my dear." The kings voice stopped her."You shouldn't be close to him Bonnie ,its a dangerous animal."
"But it isn't an animal. They are special being." She corrected.
"I don't know about that...Move out from him."
"Okay father." She tried to walk-away when she slipped and fall.
She felled on him.
He was deep into his sleep when he felt a soft body on his. He felt his wolf pushing to take charge. Not just his wolf his soul wanted to meet the person who's scent is so intoxicating mostly his wolf who couldn't wait any more to come out.
He continue to push trying to overcome the forces suppressing him until he came face to face with the being.
In his awaken state he could perceive the scent very well. The scent of royalty missed with her scent which made all the pleasant scent he was breathing in before to disgust him.
He can't believe he fought all the forces to meet her. A royal blood.
He hate human but he hate royals the most. His face squeezed in a frown. His eyes turning red.
Why must she be from royal? If it a merely human, he can tolerate but a royal...never!
The King and Delva who was watching silently gasped when they saw his eyes open.
Bonnie who didn't know why, lifted up her face only to met with a green-red pair of angry eye staring back at her.
"Fuck." She cursed.
The King seeing the wolf's angry gaze on his daughter rushed forward to save his daughter from him but he turned with a blood-shot eyes .
He stood frozen shaking in fear.
Bonnie tried to stand up but felled right back on him.
'Oh God! Please save me.' She prayed inwardly.
His furious glare and blood-shot eyes was scaring the hell outta her and she's scared to her witt.
Her eyes burn and tears began to trickle down.
"Woooh!." He roared.
Due to his fury, his posture changed. His nails was replaced by a long shape claws and eyes reddish like blood. Teeth extended to abnormal length.
She knew immediately that that is the end of her existence.
His menacious gaze didn't help at all as it sent her heart to seizure.
His frown deepened, as he held her in his hands, his claws digging hole into her arms.
"How could it be? How could the moon goddess play such a trick on him? Of all the people he could be mated to, why does it have to be the kings daughter?The daughter of the man who made life miserable for him."
He was hurt. He was in pain. He was in turmoil.
But worst, he was angry at the Goddess for doing that to him. For mating him with her.
The princess, daughter of King Archbald is his only ticket to revenge. And right now, she's in his mercy. But the moon goddess have to be cruel.
If he hurt her, he hurt himself. And if he killed her , he killed his mate.
He didn't hurt only the king but himself too.
