The monsters around her froze in their place, and their eyes slowly sought the source of the voice.
She turned as well and found Bast looking at the scene with interest shining in his eyes.
She cocked a brow at the male, whose eyes now glowed red when the attitude of the beasts changed.
They might have been friendly with her, but they are not with him. They saw her captain as a threat.
The biggest one among the group swam slowly where the male was standing and even Bast took notice of the sudden change.
"I think your new friends here see me as a threat to you, which is odd because they aren't frightened of you, but I presume it has something to do with your origin. Your mother is a just goddess so they might sense it."
He said thoughtfully, then crouched down as the big crocodile approached him.
