Anubis,
Anubis kneeled in front of Ra on shaky legs and with an unclear mind.
He has been imprisoned with Apophis for months and even though the god of chaos treated him with respect and kindness, Anubis suffered.
Apophis prison was meant to lock the god away in a dimension that drained his power.
And the god of the dead stayed with him for months and as a result, now he felt empty and weak.
That was how Ra had punished him for what he had done, fighting Horus and daring to challenge the supreme ruler.
"Did you learn your lesson, son of Osiris?"
Ra Asked Anubis, looking bored and impatient. Anubis raised his head slowly, then he just gave his grandfather an empty look.
"You look weak and exhausted. I take it that your stay with Apophis wasn't to your taste."
Ra said, smirking, amusement apparent on his features as he regarded the god of the dead.
Anubis stood on shaky legs, his eyes still staring at his grandfather.
