Is queen Annipe with a child as well? Akila didn't know why, but hearing this had weighed her heart.
She looked the first queen up and down, from head to toe, searching for anything that would confirm her pregnancy.
But she couldn't tell, Annipe looked as usual. Nothing was different about her.
The queen turned to look at Akila in surprise, but then her features changed to calmness.
"Congratulations, Khepri. The king must be happy, but he will be elated when I share the good news with him.
Akila was startled against her will and Annipe chuckled humorlessly as she approached her.
