The spirits of the earth are born basically from the Empress' power. And even if they made a contract with a human, they always tell them.
"If you do something against my Empress, it will be the day we break the contract and can kill you anytime."
But no one understood.
If Number Two and Phillip were to know it, they would've jumped in excitement. They almost got exposed, but because of the familiar magic that surrounded them, it keeps them safe for the moment.
