Sera got up from her chair before seeing grandmother asleep again. She pulled on a little blanket and covered grandmother's body. She smiled at grandmother's face.
"Good night grandma ..." Sera kissed grandmother's forehead and cheeks before stepping out of the room.
While Sera and Bora were having fun chatting with Sera's friends on the phone, Hejin came and also saw who his future wife and cousin were chatting with on Sera's phone. They shock looked at Hejin who was smiling.
"Wow, there's Hejin ..." Tiffany and Grillia shouted.
"Hi .. Do you both fine?" Hejin scolded the two friends.
"We are fine, Are you?" Grillia asked warmly.
"I'm fine too ..." He replied. Hejin started sitting next to Bora.
"I heard Bora is going to marry with you. Is that right?" Grillia changed her face.
"Yes .. We'll be married in three months, don't forget to come here, okey.." Hejin is still with his smile.
"Yes we will come. Even though this heart hurts to see my baby belong to someone else." Grillia said sadly. Hejin is used to Grillia's attitude, this girl is a lesbian so he doesn't care if Grillia likes Bora who used to be a tomboy before.
"Sera .. Can I ask you something?" He start conversation after saw Sera and Bora finished chatting with Tiffany and Grillia.
"What do you want to ask me?" Reply Sera gently.
"About you, are you okay for marry with a man that you doesn't love?" Hejin asked worriedly. He was actually afraid Sera would not be happy one day.
"Hm .. I is actually scared too, I is scared if he gets a husband who make a punch bag. How we know right? In front of my parents, the man looks good and loving, but he's actually beaten up." Sera smiled a little.
"Don't talk nonsense. .. It's not possible that aunty and uncle let you marry with a man like that, they must investigate the man's background first and then get close to you." Bora slapped Sera thighs angrily. Sera laughed a little.
"I'm just kidding."
"But I doesn't care .. As long as the man treats I like a wife. That's enough for me, Oppa." Sera smiled.
"Oppa and Bora want to see you happy."
"You and Bora, don't worry, If Sera isn't happy. You two will I tell first." Sera smiled before hugging Bora's body.
Unbeknownst to the three of them, someone was watching them outside the house. A mystery man wear in a black t-shirt and hat covering his face stared sharply at Sera. His lips began to be etched with a wicked smile.
"Finally you're back, Sera." Said the mysterious man.
"Sera, what are you doing?" Bora scolded Sera when she saw the girl daydreaming outside the fence.
"I feel like someone is watching us." She replied with a eyes still looking outside the fence.
"It's okay, just your hunch." Bora tries to calm his friend down.
He probably knows, the reason Sera's family brought Sera to US is because they don't want Sera to be constantly reminded of her ex -lover. After the incident Sera was almost raped by her ex -boyfriend three years ago making Sera phobic with men.
I know Hyeon Gi has been released from prison, right? "Sera sat back calmly.
"He was not even released from prison but he escaped from prison." Reply Bora.
"Oh ..." Sera was silent again.
"Sera .. Let's go in .." Bora invited hee friend when she got a signal from Hejin. Sera just nodded and followed Bora.
"Hopefully Hyeon Gi don't know Sera is back now." Hejin whispered to himself.
Hejin started to enter his house when he felt the night wind make his goosebumps. The mysterious man hiding behind the darkness was only able to laugh a little at Sera's confused face.
"You won't be able to run away from me forever, Kim Sera." Baek Hyeon Gi started to lift his hat slightly, his eyes looking sharply at the big house in front of him.
"What's wrong with you, honey?" Mrs. Kim held her daughter's shoulder.
"Maybe it's cold outside, that's what I feels a little cold." In response, she didn't want to see her mother worried.
"You have to sleep, maybe you're tired today." Reply Mrs. Kim. Sera nodded and headed to the room accompanied by Bora from behind. Bora saw Sera lying on her mattress.
"Bora, I want you to sleep with me tonight. Can you?" Sera saw Bora about to stand up of bed.
"Okay, but I want to take my bag and phone near the bottom." Bora applauded Sera.
"You sleep first." Bora covered her friend's body with blanket before she left Sera's room.
Bora came down from the upper level and she arrive towards the table in the living room. She started taking her phone and parked car keys in her backpack. Hejin started scolding her from behind.
"What are you doing? You already want to go home?" Hejin asked a little worried.
"Nope .. I just go into Sera's room, she's not very healthy so she asked me to sleep with her tonight." Bora replied with her hands busy storing her belongings into the bag.
"Oh that's good." Reply Hejin.
"It's better to sleep here until Sera returns to the US." Mr. Kim snapped from behind Hejin.
"Err, I can't sleep here for days, I'll be late go to work." Bora replied a little embarrassed. She really wants to sleep with her best friend, but she now works late into the night.
"It's okay, I'll pick you and send you home." Reply Hejin. Even more embarrassed, Bora heard a reply from Hejin.
"That's good. You work until night now. It's not good to go home alone. It's dangerous." Reply Mr. Kim pula.
"Ah, it's a shame to let people to send me and take me." Sera replied shyly.
"What's wrong .. I'm your fiancé, I must be worried. It's okay, later I'll go send and pick you up." Bora just listened before nodding understandingly.
"All right Mr. Kim Hejin." Bora smiled a little.
"I'll ask myself first. Sera will be waiting for me for a long time." Bora replied, she started towards the stairs.
"You take good care of Bora .. She's a good friend of my daughter, I don't want Sera to be sad if anything happens to her friend." Mr. Kim gently patted his nephew shoulder it.
"I understand uncle." Hejin smiled. He already know about news that now there is a rape case in their place, the police are investigating the case.
