Chapter 65 - The Killer And Eppitt Of The Forsaken

With the maids beside him, offering him all he needed Leon dressed up in a ceremonial attire His fairly long-sleeved, silky jacket covers him too well below his knees and is barely buttoned up at the top right side. The sleeves of his jacket are quite narrow and reach down to well below his hands, they're decorated with a decorative band almost at the edges.

The jacket has a narrow, rectangular neckline which reveals part of the rough shirt worn below it and is worn with a simple cloth belt, which is held together by a small belt buckle. The cloth belt is slightly decorative, but mostly there to hang a sword.

His pants are simple and a loose fit and reach down to his furred shoes. The shoes are made from a pretty unusual fur but are otherwise a common design.

Dressing in a game can be a simple equipping of armour and can also be by wearing bit by bit just as Leon was used to. The maids bowed as they rounded up and walked out of Leon's room.

He looked into the mirror and admired himself, adjusting his bangs to the right side of his forehead. He walked over to the corner of his room where his precious egg lay on a pillow. He touched it,

"Papa is going to be travelling for some days, I'll be back soon so don't miss me too much huh," Leon said and was about to walk away when he belatedly noticed, he bent down and leaned closer towards the egg.

"A crack?" He grinned, "Finally...is my baby dragon going to be born, or what is it gonna be...oh I can't wait to find out." Leon said, softly carrying the egg. 'Did it increase in size...' he thought instinctively upon carrying and walking outside.

The white chariot was decorated with golden inscriptions and behind it on both sides was a flag that carried the insignia of the Tirianae duchy. As the door opened, three-step stairs unfolded to the ground. The development of technology was not a weird thing, it was the medieval age though and most were powered by magic or magical minerals, like the trains, for example, Leon was knowledgeable about that fact and I think we also should be.

"Why are you taking that?" Knight Finduilas curiously asked, looking at what was in Leon's arm. "And aren't you going to take away the blindfold fold?"

"This is my baby, and it might hatch anytime and yes I don't plan to."

"What if they begin to think you are blind?"

Leon grinned, ignoring Knight Finduilas's concern making him sigh.

"I will leave your safety in the hands of Knight Daryon, he might not be the best of the best but he is capable too." Knight Finduilas said.

"Leave it all to me, Sir!" Knight Daryon shouted with vigour.

Knight Finduilas nodded to Leon as he entered the chariot, Oweyn and Knight Daryon also climbed on their horses, and with several Tirianaen knights behind them, they proceeded out of the castle. The people waved as the chariot rode out of the city.

... ... ...

"You can't enter the symposium unless you have the pass, another way is to show your nobility badge." the guard at the entrance said to Kraus.

He was irritated but was holding in well.

"I don't have a pass and I am not a noble, but I need to see the bard named Eppitt." He replied.

"Eppitt or whoever it is, if you don't have a pass you can't enter here. You can just wait till the symposium is over till you see whoever you want to see." The guard replied to him with a disregarding mien.

Kraus walked away and walked under a large maple tree that stood in front of the coliseum, he sat down beneath the tree with his arms folded and watched as nobles and gentries entered and each came out with a lady beside them, with their hands either dipped into the woman's butt from behind or in the breast and doing nasty acts not even caring who looked.

Kraus sighed and stood up after two hours, he equipped a double sword which was hung on his back.

"What are you doing here again?" The guard said, now getting frustrated.

"I have decided..." Kraus responded, reaching for his swords.

"Huh?..."

"None of you deserve to live."

~SWISH~

Blood squirted out of the guard's chest as Kraus's sword dived into it and sliced down.

"Filthiness should be purged," Kraus said with a grin on his face.

Kraus walked into the Coliseum and began to cut down everyone he met on his way, till he was in the large hall that was filled with the rhythm of music and the noise of enjoyment, moans from some angles which came from the sluts that were being fucked. Kraus's presence was unnoticed and uncared for until he began to slash and stab all those around him. The disorderliness started from the corner he was, cutting down anything in front of him, whether it was man and woman wrapped in the bliss of sex, or the noble drinking and being teased by the slut beside him, be it a man or a woman, he cut down everything. Except for the bards.

Disorderliness spread into the crowd as a large number of people began to realize that people were being killed, at this point no one cared, everyone including the bards wanted to run out. But Kraus had taken a preventive measure of locking the entrance he came in towards. Of course, there can never be just one entrance to a big coliseum and people's senses are bound to get heightened in the face of a death prospective danger. The crowd turned towards other directions and rushed there as they were being slaughtered. But before they could Kraus jumped over them and, rigorously slashed the people that were already there with a spinning cyclonic sword slash.

Their blood splattered around, on each other's faces, they sought another way and ran again, in heavy screams and wails. Both the guards that came to their rescue and them, it was a dance of blood.

After a while a certain amount of people stood in fear as Kraus, who was now covered in blood, his hair was damped in blood, and so were his clothes and face. He sat down at a table and paused for a moment, the bards who were with one musical instrument or the other and dressed almost the same observed him but dared not to take any mischievous action.

"Who amongst you is Eppitt?"

A fluffy brown-haired boy with a lyre walked out.

"You are the reason this place is like this, you are to be blamed," Despite having killed hundreds of people, no tiredness of any sort showed in Kraus's tone.

Eppitt, looked around and his shoulders shuddered at the sight of the pool of blood with bodies immersed in it, he looked towards Kraus and was so shook with fear that he could not even talk.

"Only you can save the rest of them..."

Even though he said that the bards behind had no glimmer of hope, which Kraus noticed.

[Quest has been updated]

> Spare only Eppitt of the forsaken and have him become your travelling mate.

> Quest failure: nil

He looked at Eppitt, "You must be quite the mischief, they don't seem to be confident enough to put their trust in you." He said and stood up walking towards Eppitt, "I know how that feels, to be disregarded by everyone because of one single mistake, or maybe many, who cares... but everyone hates you the moment you are not their definition of what they call normal."

Eppitt bowed his head as Kraus reached him, but Kraus gently lifted his face from his jaw.

"Nevertheless, I will grant you a chance...tell me all you know about Zevryt."

Eppitt gulped.

"Speak," Kraus said.
