There once was a ship that put to sea
The name of the ship was the Billy of Tea
The winds blew up, her bow dipped down
O blow, my bully boys, blow!!!
Soon may the Wellerman come
To bring us sugar and tea and rum
One day, when the tonguin' is done
We'll take our leave and go
She'd not been four weeks from shore
When down on her, a right whale bore
The captain called all hands and swore
He'd take that whale in tow (Huh!)
Soon may the Wellerman come
To bring us sugar and tea and rum
One day, when the tonguin' is done
We'll take our leave and go
Gretas enjoyed the ocean wind as the whole crew of players sang aloud a popular sea shanty song from the real world!!
"Where is our destination?" Jason said as he sat beside, Gretas who sat comfortably on a rocky chair, with his eyes closed. He took a sip from the bottle of alcohol that was beside Gretas and sucks air in through his teeth due to the hotness of it. "Aren't you a minor, are you even allowed to take things like this?" he said.
"I'm 19" Gretas responded, "and don't just take my stuff," he said as he shoved his glass of alcohol away from where it was.
"Anyway, where's the next stop?" Jason asked.
"Amsterdam" Gretas responded.
"Where is that?"
"Somewhere in Romel empire."
"Hey hey, entering the Romel empire by sea might be trouble." He said.
"Even entering by land is the trouble? you can return my money if you don't want to go."
"Dude, that money, I used it to pay my rent, I can't return jack shit. Don't worry, I'm in with you after getting this silly profession; Fisherman, I've been stuck unable to level up. But since we've been hunting sea monsters, my level up rate has been crazy, with the next batch of monsters I'll hit level 100, what about you?"
"...Well, my level reset when I got the new profession so I'm still far away."
"Oh-oh, the profession must be very good if you decided to sacrifice your level," Jason said to Gretas who sighed in response. 'I don't know if it's good or just trouble, I've been on the sea for a month looking for something called Charybdis...and a blueprint.' He closed his eyes and enjoyed the songs the crew of the ship sang in turns.
... ... ...
...5 days to the subjugation...
...After daily routine training...
"By the training alone my stats are increasing, is that sort of thing normally possible in a game. I am surprised, but thanks to it my stats are more than my level should be." Leon smiled.
"You look like you are enjoying yourself."
Leon frowned as he heard the feminine voice. He stood up from his cross-legged seating position.
"What exactly do you think you are doing? Don't think you can just walk in and out of my castle because we are allies" Leon said.
"I wonder how someone can be so ungrateful? have you forgotten it thanks to me you got in?" Tessa replied.
Leon tilted his head left, then right, "I don't understand what you are saying Tessasite, how is it thanks to you. Anyway stop bothering me, I have a lot to deal with." Leon said and walked out on her. He proceeded to his office where merchant Conrad was. If left to me, I would say Merchant Conrad's sudden closeness to Leon is suspicious but let's continue to read perhaps we would get a hint of what might be going on.
"All the items you asked for have been successfully secured, it's now left to you to fulfil your end of the bargain, make me a money-making machine." He said.
"Of course, I do not break my promises" Leon responded.
"But are you sure you are sane? with all you asked me to steal, I'm sure you are going to draw their wrath. They'd have probably started tracking it by now." The merchant said, "...thinking of what I had to go through to steal that item makes me go insane.." He shivered as he added.
"There's just one thing I read about that I need to confirm. When a being named by god uses the power of that god what's it called?" Leon asked.
"You mean god's blessing. When a being is named by a god, the nomenclature is 'to receive god's blessing so when they use the power it's called holy power." The merchant responded.
Leon grinned, 'Insane. To think an orc can use holy power...I'll kill two birds with one stone.'
"I still have no idea what you are trying to achieve, I don't know whom I should be warier of, you or them...?"
Leon smiled, "I don't need your wariness, I need your investment. Do well to cover the war expenses."
"I've been thinking..." the merchant looks to the ceiling with teary eyes, "...if I knew you were this kind of person, I would have probably decided to stay in the prison. That gold mine better be real...or..." He paused and looked at Leon, then walked out.
'He's a good businessman, I need a way to make him mine.' Leon thought to himself as he watched Conrad leave his office.
