Chapter 18 - Thank Goodness

Within a day the news of the new Queen has spread around the kingdom first, then which slowly later began to be carried by bards throughout the continent, singing of how a hero sacrificed his life to end the tyranny of the king and lead the true ruler of Temper back to her place.

"I assume this hero is a player" Glecius said. Brown, long hair awkwardly hangs over his fresh, radiant face. His round red eyes, set concealed within their sockets, beneath his chin was a clean shave and scales on his skin even though he was light skinned like every other humans but the scale were not visible at a glance. Glecius is one of the early starter of the game and he and his guild members have been in search of the main story which had been hard to find.

"To hear that a player suddenly completed a quest that affected a whole kingdom. It has to be it" Neju another member of the guild said, his light-green, flowing hair clumsily hangs over his strong, menacing face. Shuttered aquamarine eyes, set dreadfully within their sockets, smooth skin delightfully compliments his hair and cheekbones. "What do we do at this point"

"A large scale game like this I don't want to believe there's only one main quest, that every body would have to do. If you watched the briefing the director did. He said the World of Aron is player driven world, not just the economy, the progress of the world itself is pushed based on player's choices." Leah said. Her black, oily hair is pulled back to reveal a long, charming face. Hollow black eyes, set handsomely within their sockets, soft skin elegantly compliments her eyes.

"Leah is right and that is why we have worked so hard to find the main quest. I think the only thing we can do is right now is find that player and bring him to our guild. If we do that, we would be able to monitor his progress with the main quest, perhaps we will be able to find a thing or two from observing him"

"Shaw is right" Glecius said, as he locked his fingers and rested his chin on them. "Which means someone would have to leave for the Temper to recruit him"

"That's much of a hassle when you think about it, but if it will give us an edge in getting the main quest, then it'd be good. Though many things have been happening in the game for the past one year and its been interesting, I can't help but wonder how awesome it will be when the world's event start happening" Courtney said, her white, greasy hair braided to reveal a craggy, warm face. Gentle green eyes, within their sockets. A scar reaching from the top to the under of her left eye.

"With us at the fore front of it" Neju said, "...I will lead an elite team with me to Temper, we would also amass as much resources that we need for building our guild territory since the Romel Empire has granted us permission and a territory."

"Great, while the rest of us will focus on leveling up and keeping our place on the ranking board" Grecius said.

"Hah, that reminds me, what are we going to do about the ranking, you have always been the first until three months ago. If you have been surpassed that means someone is faster at leveling up than you are." Leah said.

"Then I just have to move faster" Grecius said with a smile towards her, standing up.

"I'm so relieved that we don't have to deal with the WhiteOrl guild anymore. They are struggling with even keeping their regional rank. Not to talk of the overall ranking." Alice said.

"And I suspect that is because WhiteOrl has not started playing." Neju said.

"He will start playing sooner or later, which is why we must get stronger so that by the time he starts, je wouldn't be able to hold a candle to the least of our members" Grecius said.

"Yes guild master" Courtney replied him and locked her arms in his.

"You can at least wait for all of us to go out before you do you lovey-dovey thingy." Alice said as she and the others moved out. Courtney didn't mind her and stood on her toes to kiss Grecius who lowered his head to kiss her back in return.

"He's a very close friend of the Queen, it's alright" Knight Barrister said to the other Knights. They bowed in responded and sheathed their swords back into its scabbard.

Queen Lia grabbed Leon's hand, "Follow, you will spend the rest of the day telling me about what happened and where you disappeared to" She said as she dragged Leon away.

Knight Barrister smiled, "It seems her majesty has found a friend...or should I say a lover..." he giggled and walked away with the other knights.
