Matthew reacted ok in his home. No one noticed any difference in him. At times he was feeling angry about his foster parents; and at times he was feeling grateful. Sometimes he was feeling as if he was on the verge of asking his parents about his adoption. But the next moment he checked himself. But one thing he was doing with conviction that was, violating the rules set by Adam, though stealthily. More often he was sneaking out unnoticed. One day he was in the library he saw in several newspapers photos of a young Adam – or the black and white photos of the man who resembled with Adam. He read the news headline with utmost curiosity: Publisher Karl Will Publish Andrew Long's Long-awaited Manuscript. Then he read the news in details. Andrew Long was a researcher – a scholar. His research area was matriarchal society in Angleslandian subcontinent. And two decades back he mysteriously disappeared with his family consisting of his ex-army father and wife. Karl the publisher was his bosom friend. He was going to publish the manuscript. This had caused a stir in the intellectual world.
An ex-army father and wife: thought Matthew. So Adam is Andrew. Is it the true identity of my foster father? He was a scholar! But I never see him researching. Or is it someone with same physical features?
