Derreck – the garage owner, picked up his mobile phone. It was his friend Sudeep who worked in the Crime Branch. Derreck became hopeful and asked, "Yes Sudeep, did you find anything?"
"No, my dear friend. I ran his photo in our database. But nothing was found. He has no criminal records. He is nowhere to be found. I am sorry. Finding this man may be very important to you, I can understand. That's why I took so much of time to search him thoroughly. But I found nothing. I am sorry. But if I can help you in some other manner, then I will be glad."
"It's ok, pal," said Derreck.
After disconnecting the call he hesitated for a moment whether to call Ronald or not. What impact it would bring to his psyche. Derreck knew that Ronald was a strong man. He would handle it gracefully. And after leaving his room – after suddenly leaving Kaizermagus, he had called Derreck. And informed him that he had got another lead. He could not delay, so he left.
Derreck had asked, "Hey, I have heard some Ron was shot in the Kaizermagus Central Library. Is that you? I mean are you all right."
"Do you think that I have the luxury of time to go to a library and spend sometime around books?"
"No, but I was worried. You left Kaizermagus so quickly, even without telling me."
Ronald had sailor-promised him, "It is ok friend, I will come to you next year."
If he had found another lead toward his enemy Andrew, then it was all good…
Now he called Ronald, "Hello, Ronald."
"Hi!" Ronald sounded in a rush.
"Sorry Ronald, my intel in the Crime Branch could not trace out info about Andrew. I am sorry."
There was a pause.
Then in a broken tone Ronald said, "It's ok."
Derreck wished to beg pardon for hundreds of times; but Ronald said to him, "Hey, I am busy right now. I will call you later." And he disconnected the mobile phone.
