Borr and Vali were walking fast, or you could say half running. They ran towards the ship's wheelhouse which was located at the front of the ship.

The crowd made it a little difficult for them to hasten their pace. The noise and the sound of the camera can be heard clearly in their ears. And everyone's body odor was a little annoying, making them have to cover their noses.

Despite a bit of difficulty, and turning to and fro, they finally arrived in front of the wheelhouse. The room looked lonely and quiet as if no one was in it. However, the condition of the steering wheel looks stable.

Borr immediately knocked on the door a few times, he glanced at Vali and opened the door. He looked at the man sitting casually in the driver's seat then approached the man. Vali also went inside the room and then closed the door.

The wheelhouse is a room that is not so big but looks spacious because it is only filled with a few items. Such as tables, chairs, a ship's rudder, and a glass cabinet that is placed in the corner of the room. Also, the white-painted walls add a clean feel to the room.

"What is it? You need something?" asked the captain of the ship, he looked at Borr and Vali with a confused look.

Borr grabbed the man's shoulder and looked at him seriously. "Can you turn the ship?"

"What for?"

"In front of us is a whirlpool," said Vali. He stared at the driver's window showing the sea. His hand immediately pointed towards the vortex in front of them. "Oh no. We're getting closer."

The captain of the ship immediately stood up and turned the rudder to the left, he looked a little troubled. Borr and Vali immediately helped him turn the wheel.

The captain shook his head but his hands still kept turning the wheel. "I'm not sure this will work."

Brack!

The wheelhouse door swung open. Two old men entered in a hurry, they looked panicked.

One of them immediately pressed several buttons near the steering wheel quickly. While the others helped Nakoda, Borr, and Vali turn the wheel.

Following its size, changing the direction of the cruise ship is very difficult if done at close range because of its large size. They---the captain of the ship---usually turn the ship from a distance so that the ship turns.

Just like other large ships, Skigen Of The Seas is also quite difficult to change course. Until the rudder can no longer turn or has been at the maximum point, the ship has not turned at all. Even closer to the whirlpool.

"Shit, we're late!" said the man who was pressing a few buttons. He lifted his hand from the table and walked backward, his eyes glaring sadly at the porthole.

The other man took his hands off the wheel, he looked at everyone in the room. "I'll have everyone use life jackets." He ran out of the room, then took a life jacket and distributed it to everyone.

Almost everyone wonders why they are required to wear a life jacket. However, the ship's officers did not answer. They just smiled and said everything was fine even though death was lurking around them.

"Please wear this, we would be very happy if you would wear it." An officer gave a life jacket to an old woman who was standing in front of the bedroom door.

The old woman who was given the life jacket received the life jacket in bewilderment. "What do I use it for? Will something happen?"

The officer smiled a little. "Everything is fine, madam."

"Then I won't use this thing." The old woman returned the jacket to the officer.

"But you will need it very much!"

"I don't feel the need." The woman folded her arms in front of her chest. "You guys are always acting weird. The people on this ship are always acting unnaturally."

The ship's officer looked at the buoy in his hand. "But…" his words were cut short by the tug of his coworker.

"We can still give this life jacket to other people. Just let this old woman drown."

"What do you mean?" The old woman screamed amidst the noise. The sound of people chatting in the hallway made the woman have to raise her voice a little.

"You'll find out later." The officer pulled his friend's hand to another room.

"They are poor and they never want to respect the richer," said the old woman.

On the other hand, Borr and Vali were still trying to turn the wheel to the left. They tried so hard to turn the ship around even though they knew it was a waste.

"This is all my fault," said the captain of the ship. He looked down, staring sadly at the tips of his shoes. "I shouldn't have sat around casually and put everyone's life in danger."

Borr was silent, he didn't know what to do.

Vali looked at the back of his hand, he suddenly remembered the image he saw a few days ago. Several assumptions immediately popped into his head. He thought the shadow was the shadow of a large animal that might be the cause of the whirlpools in the sea.

Guilt immediately enveloped Vali's heart. He exhaled slowly and looked at everyone there. "A few days ago I saw a long, large shadow near this ship. But I don't know what that shadow is."

Borr looked at Vali with a frown. "What do you mean? What kind of long, large shadow?"

Vali shook his head slightly. "I don't know for sure. But there are some shadows in common with him."

"Krakens,"

Borr and Vali looked at the captain of the ship. "Krakens?" asked Borr.

Nakoda nodded confidently, he exhaled slowly. "Kraken or giant octopus."

"Can you explain that to us?" said Borr.

"I don't know for sure. All I know is that they live in the wide sea."

Borr and Vali fell silent. Vali was lost in his thoughts and regrets. He stared at the whirlpool with an even gaze. His mind said all of this happened because he wasn't firm with his feelings. He should have said that to everyone instead of being silent like Odin said. Maybe if he told the truth, this ship would be safe or at least stay away from the Kraken that was after them.

However, everything has happened. Now wasn't the right time to think about Vali's feelings. Now is the time to think about saving everyone's lives. Securing innocent lives.

"What do you mean?"

Bargi looked at Elli with a different look. "You've changed, Elli."

Elli chuckled, she shook her head a few times. "I haven't changed, Bargi. But here I am. This is the real me. I'm the one who likes to play games, and I'm the one who likes guys."

Now, Bargi looked at Elli with a confused look. He tilted his head slightly. "You mean?"

Elli smiled, she looked at the people around them. "Maybe this will hurt you a little." She looked back at Bargi. "I don't like you." She said without thinking about Bargi's feelings. She says what's on his mind, it doesn't matter if it's a positive thing or not.

Bargi rolled his eyes, he held his breath for a while then laughed a little. Guilt and regret immediately landed in his heart. He remembered the woman who was still haunting his mind---Hel. He wanted to get back with that woman. Go home and report all of Elli's unpleasant treatment to Hel. "I know it." He replied calmly. But his heart ached a little.
