"How was your day in your new office?" Henry asked Elle as they had lunch together at a restaurant near the company.
Elle stuck her fork into the food on her plate, then pointed it into her mouth. She ordered a summer salad with steak. "So far, I've had no problems." She replied after swallowing her food. It was a simple dish that had a variety of flavors.
"Hans and George didn't bother you, did they?" Henry asked again. That was his biggest fear. They could do bad things that forced her to leave the company. Again.
Elle shook her head. "Not yet. But George bothered me a little by bringing his friend over to the company." She spoke of her situation in the past few days. Even though it didn't occur often, it annoyed her only knowing Peter's presence within the company area. She had a feeling that the man would look for opportunities when she was caught off guard.
"A friend?" Henry repeated an essential part of the information Elle had given him.
