"You said you'll bring in a new member," Carl asked after not seeing what Julian said on the second visit. It was a pretty hot Wednesday afternoon.
"Ah, about that." Julian seemed to have just remembered it. "Raphael said he needed more observation of them," he explained simply.
More observations?
Was it related to his annoyance in the previous class?
"So you aren't the only one recruiting new members?"
"Raphael and I, to be exact. I could give names, but Raphael must also agree with my choices. Otherwise, there will be a lot of students taking their place."
It reminded him of all the teachers involved in the club. Thus, he understood that Julian did not have an absolute say.
"I have an extra class this weekend." He gave that information because it might collide with the hunting club practice on the weekend.
"I've heard it from Raphael. You all made him mad." Then, the class's image and his comrades' expressions flashed through his mind. And he laughed aloud at that.
