Unbeknownst to Eleanore, Ivander followed where the girl had gone. Ivander couldn't wait to annoy Eleanore who had the nerve to ignore her.
Ivander was sure what he was doing right now would not be caught by Eleanore. Because he followed the girl casually on top of buildings.
It was easy for Ivander to climb buildings with the strength he had, even though his strength wasn't as strong as what he had before.
But, at least small things like spying on humans were easy for him. Coupled with very sharp eyesight and can see even distant objects.
"The girl is so excited to run, what is she looking for?" Ivander asked himself as he watched Eleanore running down the sidewalk.
"I don't understand with humans, why would they bother doing useless things." Folding his arms across his chest, Ivander was seriously looking at Eleanore from a distance that could be said to be very far away.
"Because that is their purpose in life," answered a voice from behind Ivander.
Ivander knew that there was someone other than him on top of the skyscraper. He only glanced at the newcomer, making sure that it was someone he knew.
"I didn't expect you to come so soon," Ivander replied, not taking his eyes off Eleanore who was far away.
"Forgive me for coming too soon, sir." The figure bowed its head slightly towards Ivander while apologizing.
Ivander sighed tiredly seeing that the figure didn't change, "You're still as boring as ever, Alex." Ivander finally turned around and faced someone he called Alex.
"Why did you come to me?" Ivander asked, quite curious about Alex's arrival this time because in the past Alex would not come to him directly like now.
"The elders have been waiting for you at the mansion, they sent me personally to pick you up," Alex explained his purpose why coming to Ivander.
Hearing the word elder leaves Alex's lips, Ivander secretly smirked. "Okay, I'll come with you," replied Ivander with a relaxed gesture.
"Then you can follow me, sir." Alex's figure suddenly disappeared from the top of the skyscraper.
From the eyes of ordinary people they would see that Alex had suddenly disappeared, but in Ivander's view, he knew that Alex was using his super fast powers. Without waiting any longer, Ivander walked slowly with his hands in his pockets and in a short time the man disappeared following Alex.
. . .
Eleanore was lucky today, she wasn't late for class, and also still had some relaxing time when she got to her class.
There were no problems during class and somehow today, whatever Eleanore did went smoothly and peacefully, no bad luck came to her.
Lizy excitedly embraced Eleanore from behind while aiming to surprise the girl. "I see you're very bright today. Is something good coming to you, hmmm?" said Lizy teasing Eleanore with her naughty eyes.
"Why so many people surprising me lately!" replied Eleanore hitting Lizy's shoulder lightly.
Lizy just chuckled happily when she managed to annoy her best friend, "Want to come with me to the cafeteria?" Lizy asked to hope that her friend would accompany her to eat together in the cafeteria.
"Okay, today I only work at the flower shop. So, I have time to have lunch with you." Eleanore agreed to Lizy's invitation to eat.
Lizy stared at Eleanore for a while, before she pinched Eleanore's figure in front of her firmly.
"What are you doing, Zy!" Eleanore screamed in pain when her best friend pinched her.
"It turned out to be you, I didn't expect you to accept my invitation to eat together with me!" Lizy said with great enthusiasm, surprised that Eleanore agreed to her invitation.
"I am just hungry today," replied Eleanore changing the subject, she was quite embarrassed when she realized that she rarely socialized with her friends.
"Come on, then." Lizy immediately pulled Eleanore's hand toward their campus cafeteria which was very busy at the moment.
Eleanore rarely came to her campus cafeteria, usually, she would go straight to her part-time job and didn't have time to stop by here.
Eleanore was very surprised when she saw that the cafeteria on her campus was too crowded. "I didn't know it was so crowded here," Eleanore whispered to Lizy who was beside her.
Lizy just smiled and dragged Eleanore to get some food. They queued and after getting their food, Lizy took Eleanore to find a seat.
Haven't arrived at their intended seat yet, Eleanore accidentally or rather she was hit on purpose. Shocked by what had happened, Eleanore accidentally spilled her tray of food on the woman who bumped into her.
"I'm sorry, are you okay?!" Eleanore immediately took a handkerchief in her sling bag to clean the clothes of the person she hit.
"No! How dare you!" The woman who bumped into Eleanore immediately screamed and started blaming Eleanore for getting her clothes dirty from the spilt food.
When the woman realized who had bumped into her, she smiled disdainfully and started talking nonsense, "No wonder, you're the daughter of that damn witch! Why is a petty person like you come to the cafeteria?!"
Eleanore was shocked when she heard the curse that the woman threw at her, after a long time of not interacting with people, she forgot that her family had been labeled as followers of the evil witch in this city.
Seeing her best friend silent and cornered, Lizy tried to help, "Watch your words, Caroline!" Just as Lizy was about to move forward and push Caroline away, Eleanore's hand reached out to hold her.
Eleanore held Lizy's hand and blink to her not to interfere. Eleanore stepped forward and again apologized to the woman called Caroline, "I know it's my fault, sorry for soiling your clothes. I'll fix it, if you want."
"Do you know how expensive this dress is? A poor person like you won't be able to make up for it!" said Caroline as she crossed her arms and looked at Eleanore condescendingly.
Eleanore tried her best to restrain herself from hitting the woman in front of her, if she hit Caroline then this problem would only get worse.
"If you really want me to change your clothes, then I will try to change them." Eleanore patiently again offered to resolve this issue so that it ended peacefully.
Caroline with a smug look and a smirk walked up to Eleanore and said, "I don't need that, I want you to take off your clothes right now, to replace mine."
Everyone in the cafeteria that afternoon fell into shock when they heard what Caroline said.
Many people looked at Eleanore with concern, how unfortunate the girl was to have to deal with someone like Caroline.
From a very faraway place, a Vampire shook his head in disbelief. "I didn't think, humans today are worse than me."
