While Mira and Cairo waited near the front door, Kevin made his way around the building and reached the back entrance. Fortunately, there were no concealed cameras or guards nearby.
Within a few seconds, he located the motel's main fuse box. It was hard to miss the fenced enclosure protected by a mesh of highly-tensile aluminum wires. There was a big iron padlock hanging from the door, and a warning board on top, cautioning everyone about the dangers of electrocution.
The fence looked sturdy enough, and a padlock like that wasn't easy to break without bolt cutters or saws. It was good enough to keep random vagabonds and wild animals away, but definitely not cyborg-proof.
Activating his Corrosion Cannon, Kevin sprayed the padlock with acid, melting it in seconds. He then gently pushed the barred metal door open and entered the enclosure. The steely gray fuse box was right in its middle.
