The hoverbikes tore across the dirt road, kicking up a dust storm behind them. Kevin's Raptor maintained a steady thirty miles an hour, sticking precisely to the suggested route marked on the navigation screen.
Guzman and Nash followed right behind the Raptor, guarding Trisha who rode down the middle. Alan and Ravi were next in the formation, followed by Cairo and Mira.
After riding due north for eight minutes, Kevin took the first left, diverging from the dirt road and coming up on the first concrete motorway.
"The road looks clear. No Raider checkpoints or convoys in sight," Kevin spoke over the private comms, leaning forward. "Keep your eyes peeled and shout if you spot any hostiles."
