The Scrappers and Scouts were quite accustomed to roaming the surface at night. However, things were a lot different out here in the wasteland. The Great Dust Bowl was Raider territory and the bandits were always more active after dark.
Though Guzman's Scouts had scoped out the main roads and surrounding fields, they hadn't covered even a quarter of the vast wasteland. Most of the region outside the walls was still unexplored territory for them.
Kevin and Mira both knew they could get ambushed by hunting parties or Raider patrols if they weren't careful, but their need was dire. Without a charging station or extra portable chargers, their hoverbikes would be of no use to them.
