Tables, chairs, and witness stands were arranged in the main hall of the Resistance HQ to create a makeshift courtroom setting. Since it was a matter of internal security, the Supervisors decided not to get the civilians involved. Only those invited specially by Dr. Zhao were allowed to attend the hearing.
The trial began with Crammer taking his seat at a rectangular crystal glass table and addressing the court.
"We are gathered here today to try Dr. Edna Webber for conspiring against the people of Subcity. She stands accused of terrorism, high treason, multiple counts of attempted murder, sabotage, mass homicide, and aiding and abetting the enemies of the State. Additionally, her accomplices are accused of conspiring with the enemy, sabotaging the Resistance, aiding and abetting a dangerous criminal, and passing sensitive information to the enemy."
