The Raiders Kevin had encountered so far hardly presented a challenge to him. Their heavy weapons had proved to be effective against the Resistance fighters, but they were useless against an advanced cyborg. All they had managed to do was slow Kevin's progress.
Any other person would have become overconfident by now, but Kevin had learned several valuable lessons from his past experiences. Instead of acting recklessly, he approached the situation with caution.
The Alternating Null Charge Unit was proof of the fact that the Raiders had managed to get their hands on advanced military gadgets, and were not afraid to use them. Kevin knew he had to watch his step, or else he was going to play right into the enemy's hands.
