Olympus had over three hundred laser cannons mounted atop its walls, covering the city from all four directions. They were more than adequate to deal with any ground units. And when it came to fighting off aerial attackers, the city's two hundred fully-automatic AA guns did the job.
The walls of the city were ten inches thick and reinforced with steel ribs. To breach its defenses, a hostile army would need to hit it with an overwhelming force of heavy siege units.
In case the walls of the city were ever breached, Olympus also had a standing army of five thousand soldiers and fifty elite troopers armed with the most advanced weapons money could buy. This impenetrable fortress was capable of repelling any attacking force, no matter how strong their numbers were. The only way of bypassing the city's defenses was by hitting it with an artillery barrage or supersonic missiles.
