Once the trial ended, Dr. Zhao requested the delegation from Lazarus to sit for a meeting to discuss their next move. Though the twins wanted to take a break, Professor Jenkins agreed to join the supervisors at once.
The best place to discuss sensitive topics was somewhere far away from the civilians. The Resistance HQ would have been a good choice of venue, but since Dr. Edna and her accomplices were being held there, Dr. Zhao didn't want to risk any information leaks. He ordered Cassandra to prepare the R&D for their discussion.
Dr. Zhao and Dr. Stacey accompanied the guests from Lazarus to the R&D lab along with Kevin, Suzy, and Shane. Cassandra had already gone ahead and set the tables and chairs and cleaned up the place with the help of her assistant bots.
