Just when Kelly thought she was going to have an easy ride to Olympus, the pop-up message shattered her illusions. The Striker could fly for hundreds of miles without needing to recharge, but activating its adaptive camouflage had rapidly drained its battery. With only 30% power remaining, it would never be able to make the trip to the other end of the executive zone in its camouflaged state.
As Kelly tapped lightly on the power level display, a menu appeared before her highlighting the power consumption for all the internal processes as well as external components. Having never driven anything so advanced, the technology felt alien to her. There were so many different items on that power consumption list that it made her even more confused.
