"In the heat of the battle there will be little time to make smaller judgements like that," the King said with a ruthless tone of voice. "I am sorry Tomas, but unless they yield themselves I won't make my army delay their attack or go easy on our enemies just because of the chance some of them might be forced to fight… this is a thing of life and death. If we lose, my entire Kingdom will fall."
