Once Adam was done talking, Cooper suddenly began to weep. It was such that Adam's words got down to him and he reflected on his parent's last words to him.
Gently and slowly, Adam knelt on both knees to him and stared into his face again. While he did this, he took his hands to his hair and ran his fingers through his hair slowly.
He sighed and waited for a moment after he comforted him.
But this did not mean Adam empathised with him. He grew back to his feet and each of the Vam hunters took a gape at him all at once. He, on the other hand, glimpsed back at each of them one after another and to each person, he darted, he nodded and that passed a message.
The rest of the children motivated by vengeance were nothing different to Cooper as at this moment they were all expanding their mouths in multiple loud howls. As Cooper was pacified by some of the women of west Petra, they were also comforted.
