Just as Kitara opened her eyes in a sudden trepidation, she regarded what she saw in her vision as a bad omen. And this was more reason she was still breathing heavily as her chest rose and fell like the hills and valleys.
Yet, her body still bled from her shoulders to her arm and to her fingers. In the same way, she also bled from her thighs to her toes. And there was her forehead, which was of no difference.
Kitara felt this pain as blood broke out of her body and as she remained seated at the altar of circle. She attempted to heal herself with the use of the spell.
Thus, she crafted her fingers strangely at her thighs and said the word of a spell again and again.
However, she failed. The blood and the pain were caused by the goddess of fire and as such, she needed to perform a ritual to prevent the omen from coming to pass and also that she may heal after the ritual.
