Chapter 4 - THE OVERWORLD

I was stunned with the portal in front of my face, it was incredible how the brown, green and blue colored particles danced in harmony, it was certainly a quite magical sight, but I shook my head to concentrate on the most important thing, entering the portal.

I slowly approached the portal with an imposing appearance, putting my hand into the portal, it was a strange sensation, it was like a mixture of feeling the heat of the sun and the freshness of the water, taking a deep breath, I suddenly entered the portal, hold my breath when I felt an unbelievable dizziness.

[CONGRATULATIONS, HIDDEN MISSION COMPLETED: reach the overworld within a week.

Rewards:

-4 tokens]

I had not seen the reward after several minutes, because I had my face glued to the grass trying to calm the dizziness that seemed to change my stomach, seeing the notification after recovering made me quite excited, even though it was little enough to get started on unlocking the first skills I've ever wanted.

Both [Looking Rush] and [Bo Skill Unlock] were bought, the first one had an energetic feeling of wanting to mine right away, it wasn't so much that I was impulsive, but it was refreshing in a weird way, instead the second one was like when you have an incredible headache, i almost had a vision of neo when they instilled abilities in his head.

-Now I know Bo Fu…-

Laughing at my own reference to alleviate the headache, I heard the classic cow moo nearby, it was rare to see an animal that you saw in reality with some cubic touches, for example the horns were somewhat pixelated but the rest of the body was almost like a normal cow, I guess is better than seeing cubic amorphous creatures...

-I'm sorry little friend… little friend? Well, unless I find a bull, you'll be a little friend... I'll have to free you from your corporeal prison, rest in peace...-

With spear in hand taken from my quick inventory, I threw it at the head of the cow killing it instantly, it was fast and I saw an option to [collect materials +], when pressing the + sign it was seen that with stone tools even of different materials would change the quality and quantity of materials that I could get, it reminded me of the mod to be able to change your own organs with the animals... with a chill and deciding to take good care of my health, I started the harvest with a crafted iron knife, which it was stronger and sharper than the knives sold in stores, in my vision there were green lines to cut from, enduring my disgust from my first experience of collecting the meat of an animal, I started with the leather, giving myself about 8, in meat / chops were about 16, plus the useful organs and intestines along with their games that gave me a 16 because several were very difficult to get, the rest of the meat and remaining materials disappeared when I was able to collect ar what I could, no experience it came out so i was hoping that if i unlocked the magic i could enchant books, like that chinese novel i read a while ago.

Stopping thinking about the future, I started by taking out the crafting table and making my first basic Bo of pine wood, the durability was low but the attack was like an iron sword, not counting the force that I could generate with the skills that I must refine what is in my mind, in that I cover the portal and make some signs to remember the way, I had to get redstone quickly to be able to make a map and save coordinates, they did not pass even 100 meters killing about 3 sheep, 4 pigs and 2 more cows , I found my first cave, I gulped because it seemed that the abyss was looking back at me, with pick in hand and with courage acted to generate true courage, I began to mine.

I tell you right away that if it weren't for mining rush I would be very screwed, because I had to mine like a normal person did and with my strength and endurance I had to eat every 5 minutes and I barely got about 20 stone and 4 coal They immediately turned into ovens and cooked the meat and made a few torches which were a welcome relief from the darkness that was barely visible in the sunlight.

And so I spend all day collecting minerals, a little bit of everything filling two lines of my stone inventory, a good amount of iron, gold, too much copper and a good amount of coal, by the time I got back from the path of torches it was already getting dark , with some panic for forgetting the most important thing, to make my provisional house.

I quickly made my own 4x4 house, enough room for a bed, 1 chest, 1 oven and a crafting table, storing all the ores and stone in the chest while I started cooking the iron and crafting 1 shield with the first iron that came out. , finally a humble oak door to be able to look outside as some spiders and skeletons were generated when the sun disappeared from sight.

-damn…they're really scary when you see them-

My mail armor made a slight noise with my tremor, fear ran through my nerves, who wouldn't be, because I proved that even though I can regenerate myself by eating, that didn't mean that I didn't feel pain in the process of hurting myself, the curious thing it was that I discovered it when I cut my foot with the point of the spear.

Stopping remembering useless bad times, I took long deep breaths to calm down and went outside putting my first torch to illuminate the massacre I hoped to generate, my equipment that I made with my own hands, I knew of its quality, so with some confidence gained and with Bo and sword in hand, more than anything to feel safe, I started to fight against the skeletons and zombies that came running towards me, while the skeletons were shooting arrows at me from different angles, with my shield most of them but with the zombies I managed to cut off their rotten and soft heads, some arrows were embedded in my armor doing a little damage to me that was immediately healed by having the food to the maximum.

But that wasn't enough because the fucking spiders came in droves like the scene in Harry Potter when he visited Aragog, luckily he could also kick and shove with his shield, giving me a break that allowed me to kill the rest of the mobs.

Every time I got more nervous, it seemed like extras were coming in droves, my food had dropped to the amount of 5 thighs, only increasing my panic much more, looking everywhere for a way out, I saw a gap between all this amount of death, I just ran like a headless chicken keeping my shield and sword in my inventory just to grab the stone blocks and make a mini tower going to one of the treetops, luckily these trees were big and with wide branches that allowed me to support myself, hiding with a branch with leaves watching as the mobs went to where I was running ignoring the stone construction, demonstrating their lack of intelligence, but then I heard the sound of the {psssss} {psss}.

My blood froze instantly, because about 3 'creepers' were walking quietly in the area where I was just, that's what I think about how to distract them, just to take out the crafting table and put it at the base of the branch that cracked a little because of the extra weight, but ignoring the noise I started to check the search screen of what I could craft, checking my inventory I only saw stone that I brought for emergency, some cow tendons and some sticks… I don't know why I think about it so much.

In the search bar I put [spring], which was to put the sticks in the shape of a [Y] and the tendon in the center, and wow! A hunting slingshot which could be improved by adding more tendons and sticks for its durability and shooting power, which was a pleasant and grateful surprise, putting all the rest of the materials in my inventory in a X5 improvement that was the maximum, with a good durability of 600 and power of 20 which was more than my iron sword of the humble 12 damage, luckily the damage is multiplied by 0.5 for each force point I gain, so I checked my stats by checking my progress.

[STATS:

Enjoying my small but nice improvements, with 1 stone I managed to get 9 pebbles as ammunition, I made enough to fill two inventory slots, and I started shooting some stones at the creepers, obviously missing most, but I started to grab him the trick measuring the distance and power it gave and with two shots I managed to kill one of these, which began to turn to dust leaving a pile of it on the ground, it was a good amount and the aroma of gunpowder, alive in latam, was What does it smell like, I reach my nose, taking advantage of the fact that the other 2 creepers approached due to the noise of the shots from my slingshot, but with my height, it was an overwhelming advantage that allowed both of them to turn into gunpowder in a few seconds.

Going down the tree carefully, checking the perimeter in case any mob returned, I picked up the powder easily despite being dust, without a doubt minecraft powers are convenient to avoid having to vacuum the powder that mixes with the earth, and so on without but I left with a good 6 of gunpowder that unlocked new ammunition for my slingshot, but first I would try to improve my aim, this time it was luck because of the clear advantages I had, but next time I may not have as many.

Returning to my base and killing with my slingshot some extra mobs that separated from the group, take advantage of collecting the materials they left behind when I killed them, it was incredible that I killed an amount of more than 50, I guess the iron riding and my armor mesh is nothing to scoff at.

-Taking into account the difficulty of how I managed to kill so many... I guess I'm in the mode between normal and difficult, at least it's not hardcore, although I don't want to discover it dying...-

I was this curious ever since I had this ability, being the real world, I was wondering what difficulty it was on, I was hoping it was at least a hard level, but apparently it was only half of that, although that could be because this is the dimension for the beginning, if that amount were in creatures from the End, I don't want to imagine how difficult it would be.

-I better stop theorizing or a witch will come to poison me...-

So before I called Murphy, I collected all the materials from the bodies on the ground without seeing what I had obtained, and then I arrived at my provisional base and there I just took a break in my bed, which was quite comfortable despite being common, looking the roof I began to check my inventory.

The amount of materials is greater than what the game usually gives, that is, having about 2 inventory slots filled with rotten meat, bones, spider eyes and thread, it was no joke, more materials than I had ever seen but when I read what they were I knew this is where mods came in.

[Mana Crystal(Small)] - [Magic Silk] - [Rotten Nails]

Silk and nails came in minimal quantities, after all the automatic collection caused many materials to be lost, but that did not matter to me, they were the materials that I could achieve with this, luckily the crystals were 1 per head so no it was lost with automatic harvesting, as it was the most important material, because apart from lapis lazuli, which was a mineral with a minuscule amount of magic, the crystal was much more powerful, allowing objects that required ridiculous amounts of lapis lazuli to be cheaper.

From what I can see from the green book, 32 small crystals count as 64 lapis lazuli, 16 medium crystals and 1 large crystal, and to convert the small ones to medium and then to large I need to create a special crafting table that requires 4 medium crystals, which was a problem, because he did not know how to obtain them.

With so much discovery and with the infinite amount of materials that there are and will be, I will have to create a diary to write down the most important things and create a giant vault to store my objects without having to order them, luckily there are the technical tutorials to help me that.

Without realizing it, I had fallen asleep without having checked the two remaining materials that were new, even so I slept quite well in the comfortable bed made of pure wool that the softness made me feel in the clouds.
