Flora was running in the forest and was running fast and she could not stop running and when she turned back she could see three snakes chasing after her to bite her. She ran as her legs could carry her but along the line, she hit a half baked rock when she was not looking and fell. The snakes stopped and gradually, started coming to where she fell and tried to bite her,she shouted and woke up from sleep. It was already midnight and shocked by the dream she had, she started waking kahu her husband who was sleeping beside her saying" My love! My love! Wake up! Kahu whose eyes were still dim because of the sleep yawned and said" My lovely wife what is it? Flora said" I just had a bad dream and I could feel or sense danger in my dream. Kahu asked" What is the dream all about? She narrated" Three snakes were pursuing me and I ran as fast as I could in a strange forest then unfortunately, i fell and they were coming to where i fell and as they tried to bite me I shouted and I woke up". Kahu's eyes were no longer dull but now active and he replied" This is really a bad dream so sorry dear". Then he brought her close to himself she was already crying and he said" Stop crying it's only a dream". And then she said" Those snakes were recognizable . Those snakes killed my parents and now they are after me". Kahu raised her jaw up looking into her eyes and said" Nothing will ever happen to you I promise you that" . And he cleaned her tears and hugged her. In the morning, gosmolt visited as he used to and kahu told him saying" My wife had a bad dream. She dreamt of three recognizable snakes chasing her in the dream. They almost bit her but lucky enough, she woke up". Gosmolt replied" Three recognizable snakes? Kahu replied" Yes three recognizable snakes. These snakes killed her parents back then when she was about ten years old. Gosmolt replied" Oh I see. We have to know why they are after her. Is she around? Kahu replied" Yes she is but she's asleep". Gosmolt replied" Ok Just try to wake her up". Kahu replied" Ok". Then, kahu went to the room and touched his wife but he noticed that she was feeling feverish then he called her by tapping her saying" My love! My love! Flora responded" u hmm" turning her face towards to her husband.Gosmolt is here he wants to help us resolve this bad dream issue". Flora replied" I think iam weak and i don't think I can get up". Kahu replied" Can't you try even if it's a little just try to raise your body up". Kahu's wife replied" I wish i could but i can't". Kahu replied" It's ok i understand you can go back to sleep now". Flora nodded and went back to sleep. Kahu went to the living room with a sad look . Gosmolt asked" What happened is she not coming? Kahu replied" She's down with fever and she's weak". Gosmolt replied" Oh I see this is strange". Kahu replied" What is strange? Gosmolt replied" Her illness is strange. Has she been ill like this before? Kahu replied" No she has not and she barely gets ill". Gosmolt replied" I think it has something to do with the the bad dream she had". Kahu was surprised. Then Gosmolt said" Let us join hands together and also close our eyes to see what is really the problem and why her parents were killed". Then kahu joined hands with gosmolt and they both closed their eyes and suddenly a very strong force came in their midst and their inner minds were open and they were able to see what really happened in the past. The soldiers of the mesilia kingdom scouted a very big massive land. They wanted to extend their kingdom so they decided to inhabit the land. The soldiers conquered the people living in the land and took over the land. But the people living in the land had an oracle they worship called "osmion". This oracle granted prosperity, success and wealth in exchange of life as a sacrifice. And the oracle kills by using three mysterious snakes that bites the victim and that venomous bite leads to death. The oracle did not provide protection since that was what it was lacking, but the osmonion people had great wealth and were successful but lacked strong military security. The people of the mesilia kingdom were not rich like that of the osmonion people. But never the less the soldiers tried to get rid of the oracle and most of them were killed by the oracle. The king at that time named king belon of the mesilia kingdom went to the cave of the oracle with his aides and tried to appease the oracle saying" We are deeply sorry for causing harm to your territory. Please we only seek peace. Accept our peace offerings. The offerings were: A life pig and A life ram. The oracle accepted the offerings and said" Your peace offerings have been accepted. But you all will serve me. I will make you prosperous. No one will be more wealthier than you. Then king belon said" We will serve you wholeheartedly". Bu the oracle said" Very well but in return sacrifice of life will be my duty to take ". King belong replied" Sacrifice of life? The oracle replied" Yes sacrifice of life". King belon said" But can't there be any other sacrifice apart from the sacrifice of life? The oracle said" There is no other sacrifice apart from the sacrifice of life which will be conducted yearly. The king and his aides were surprised and shocked and if they knew they would have sent spies to know more about the land than just taking it by force or by violence. So the king said" We accept you can take anyone from the people of the mesilia kingdom concerning the sacrifice of life". The oracle replied" So be it". But my king, this sacrifice of life does not affect you and your family but to those who are not of royal blood". King belon said' Alright". And bowed. As they left the cave, king belon said to his aides(Elders, generals and royal bodyguards) saying" We should not tell anyone including the people of the mesilia kingdom about this" The elders and generals did not agree and one of them named kilab said" Your majesty we need to tell this to the people or maybe find another land. Remember that this sacrifice of life does not affect your family but also affect us and our family and the people of the mesilia kingdom". Then king belon said" Let me think about it and I will send feedback to you all tomorrow. Let's leave". The elders bowed and said" Yes your majesty". When the king came back, his family welcome him back warmly. King belon had a son named kiwenn and a daughter named jewel while his lovely wife the queen's name was roseline. Later that night, as they have finished having their dinner as a family and were about to go to bed, the queen said" How did it go? Did you , the elders and generals appease the oracle? The king replied" Yes we did but the oracle gave us a condition". The queen replied" What was the condition?The king replied" There was going to be a sacrifice of life yearly". The queen was surprised and said" Sacrifice of life! The king replied" Yes. It is a yearly sacrifice".The queen replied" Oh my gosh! A yearly sacrifice. This is bad my lord very bad". The king replied" But it will not touch this family because we are of royal blood but this sacrifice will affect our subjects". The queen asked" My Lord what is your decision concerning this with the elders? The king replied" The elders did not agree and come to think of it there is no other choice at least it's just one life every year". The queen replied" My king my love so you accept the decision of the oracle? king belon answered" Yes of course besides it promised this kingdom of massive wealth and prosperity"The queen replied" My lord Your people's life should be your first priority. You cannot just let an oracle make decisions for you my king. If all the people of the mesilia kingdom were finished who then will serve us, protect us and who then will you call your people? Dont you see it loves and feeds on human blood". The king thought for a second and said" Oh my gosh how can i be so foolish and blind i have never even thought of it at all . You have a point to what you have said but what can i do".(Looking at his wife). The queen replied" Iam so sorry my love i dont have an answer to that but i know that before tomorrow morning you would have thought of a plan." (The queen kissed him and slept off) while he stayed awake all night thinking.The next day the king reconsidered because he cared for his subjects and called one of his royal guards named kiv and said" Go and summon the elders,tell them that we are having a meeting this morning". The royal guard replied" As you wish your majesty". Kiv left and summoned all the elders and about (30 minutes later), they were at the palace. They all greeted the king saying" We greet you your majesty". King belon replied" I greet you all and I thank you all for being present in this meeting". Now this meeting is for the benefit of our subjects and also for many of us who are seated here. Now I have been thinking thoroughly through out last night and I have come to a decision that this our kingdom will evacuate this land for good". Then one of the elders said" Your majesty don't you think the decision you are making could be risky what if the oracle hunt us all after evacuating the land". The king said" I don't think that is possible besides it's only those that inhabit the land that will bear the consequences but we are already leaving. We should leave by tomorrow but we need to inform the people today but we should not tell them the truth I mean the reason why we are leaving. It's going to be a shameful thing that we were not careful in making decision to go to war against the occupants of this land and also to know the type of oracle they serve".Then one of the elders said" So that means we will lie to our subjects? and what do you think we should tell our indigenes my king? The king replied" We will lie to our subjects. We will tell them anything". The elders were all shocked and surprised and the chief elder said" Your majesty we cannot lie to our subjects that will show that we are deceiving them". The king replied" I cannot spoil my reputation. My subjects will use me for caricature and even gossip with my name saying that their king lacked wisdom and was foolish in making decisions". The chief elder said" But my king, why would your subjects say such things about you. Everyone makes mistakes at times". The king replied" That's enough. My decision is final. We won't tell our indigenes the truth so that we won't put fear in them,and so that they won't think that their king is a foolish one". One of the elder now said" What are we going to tell them then your majesty? The king replied" We will tell them that the land is cursed that i their king received a revelation from the oracle in my dream. In my dream, i saw people being killed by spirits who inhabited this land. And that we went to see the oracle of this land yesterday and it told us to leave or else we will all die. This is what we should tell our people and that's final.Hope it's clear". They all bowed in respect and said" Yes it is long live the king!". The elders did not like the idea but who are they to say no so they all agreed to go by what the king said. The king then summoned a town crier or should i say a messenger and said on to him saying" You should say onto them that the king had a bad dream yesterday. The oracle revealed to him that the land which they inhabit is cursed and that the spirits which inhabit this land will start to kill each and everyone of them one by one until their is none left in the land. The king visited the oracle of this land with the elders yesterday and it told them the same thing. It said that if they don't leave the land by tomorrow they will all be killed by the angry spirits which inhabit this land". The messenger said or proclaimed everything that the king told him to say. And the people of the mesilia kingdom hearing this, started parking their stuff /belonging until it was evening. The next day, the people of the mesilia kingdom were set to leave. And the king told the elders quietly" I told you that my plan and idea was going to work". So the king said" My people let us go in search of another land and leave this land filled with cursed spirits". And so they journed to find another land and they did find it but it took some months before they did. The land was also occupied with people but those people who occupied the land had a small population and the surprising thing was that they even surrendered to the people of the mesilia kingdom whole heartedly and the people of kuli land promised to serve them or be under them. But the shocking thing was that even the people of the mesilia kingdom were dying slowly as they were in search of land. The people of the mesilia kingdom complained about a strange snake which they saw in their dreams that haunted them and after some days those snakes killed majority of them not on the same day but consecutive days or fortnight ( two weeks time)as punishment for leaving. As they got to a new land and started living there, one night the king had a bad dream about the oracle of osmion. The king was terrified in the dream and said" Please have mercy on me! Please have mercy on me! The oracle of osmion replied" I am not here to kill you king belon but I want to tell you that no matter where you and your people run to and hide i will still collect my sacrifice of life since you and your people killed those who occupy the land. You cannot run away from the covenant we have already established". The oracle began to laugh so loud that king belon woke up and was deeply scared. He was now worried about his people and felt stupid for not telling them the truth but as of now, it was already too late. On his bed that night he screamed three times saying" No! No! No!. Then his wife got up and said holding him" Your majesty,my husband what is it? The king said" I just had a bad dream". The queen replied" What is the dream all about? The king at this point did not want to tell his wife that he saw that evil oracle from the land they ran away from he didn't want to bother his wife so he lied to her saying" I was just being chased by wolves because I killed their own offspring or specie. I fell and as they got closer to eat me,i woke up and i was like no i shouldn't have killed one of their own. I guess i was looking for their trouble". The queen laughed holding him tight and said" It's that a bad dream. My love you are very funny but all the same am sorry you had such a bad dream so please my love let's go back to sleep ok". He nodded and they went back to sleep. In the morning, the king woke up and was now thinking again saying within himself" What can i do to save my people's life? Should I sacrifice myself for them? Although it's all my fault. I should do what is necessary". The king that morning called one of his body guard and said" Go and summon the elders. Tell each and every one of them that we have a secret and an emergency meeting. They should all rush to the palace immediately". Then the body guard went at once to summon all the elders and they came to the palace at once as the king has instructed them to. Then all the elders were seated, they notice that the king was silent and troubled as he behaved as one being threatened by someone. So one of the elders especially the chief elder said" What troubles you my king? For your countenance looks troubled. Please share with us this problem of yours. Let us know how we can tackle it". The king said" The oracle of osmion appeared to me in a dream. And said that we cannot hide from it as we have made a covenant with it. It will continue with it's sacrifice of life as it continued with our people in the forest.So I called you all to ask if we can do anything about this? Then one of the elders who forewarned about it said" Your majesty i don't think there is anything we can do about this situation. I knew this type of thing would happen and I said it that we cannot run away or hide from that evil oracle. The king still asked" What are we going to do? The chief elder said" Your majesty I don't think there is anything we can do". The king ( sighed) and said" I think there is". The elders looked cautiously at him and the chief elder said" There is! The king replied" Yes". Then one of the elders said" Your majesty what could that be? The king replied" The sacrifice of life. I will sacrifice my life for the sake of my people. I should have confined in them the situation at hand but I deceived them thinking that running away would solve the problem". Then the chief elder said" Your majesty it is also not your fault it's also our fault too. You don't need to sacrifice your life your majesty. The kingdom and your people and also your family needs you. Let's us do the sacrifice of life for you". The king replied" No. I will do the sacrifice of life for my people". The Chief elder said" What of your family your majesty? The king was silent and speechless for a while then he replied" You chief kikan my chief elder see to it that my family is being taken good care of. And I know my family will be alright without me and i don't want to worry them. Chief kikan tried to speak but the king motioned his hand and said" Don't speak i have already made up my mind". Then they all bowed and said" As you wish your majesty". The king continued" I will travel today by night to that kingdom of osmion to see the oracle and i don't want anyone to follow me iam going alone. If my family ask about me, Tell them that I have gone for hunting and that I will be back before the night comes." The elders were sad and they held their tears because their king decided to sacrifice his life. So later that day, after the meeting the king collected his bow weapons to pretend as if he was going for hunting then his wife asked him saying" When will you be back and are you the only one going let our dear son follow you, you know how he likes hunting". The king replied" No that will not be necessary. Don't worry I will be back before you know it and no one not even the guards are following me. I just want to do this on my own personally". Then he kissed her but she held him back and said" Be careful". Then the king hugged her and said" I will". The king left the palace and journed to the osmion land and reached the cave where the oracle was and said" I have come to lay my life as a sacrifice for my people and".. Before he could finish talking, the elders with his wife said" No! Stop your majesty". The king turned behind him and behold it was the elders with his wife and the king was dumbfounded and surprised. Then the queen his wife said" So this is what you were planning to do to lay your own life for your people but you have forgotten all of a sudden about your family and do you think I could be the only one to rule such a big number of people like the people of the mesilia kingdom". The king replied" Am so sorry my beautiful wife am sorry for not telling you my plans because i know how you would feel and you would not allow me to". They both cried and hugged themselves then she looked back at the elders and said" It's time". The king himself did not know what was even happening until the elders dragged him out and he said" What's happening you all should leave me alone! Then looked at his wife and said"What are you planning? The queen replied" Someone must give out his or her life as a sacrifice and i have accepted to do it". The king said" No my dear please let me do it let me bear my sins and punishment you are innocent in all of this please my dear wife don't do it please i beg of you". (He was weeping so much). But his wife said" It's too late my dear husband take care of our children and the kingdom i hope i will be remembered for this". The king was still struggling to rescue his wife but the elders held him firmly and the king said" Please leave me let me be! The chief elders replied" No your highness you cannot die not now". The queen went close to the oracle and said" I want to give my life for the sake of my people so that the sacrifice of life could stop". The oracle replied" My queen i don't accept the life of a royal family". The queen said" I want you to accept this life and let the sacrifice of life stop let it end now!. The oracle said" If that is your wish my queen so be it". The oracle's power took hold of her brain, heart and lungs and frezzed all of them then she slumped and died. The king was so angry and bitter that he overpowered his elders and the few guards that came with them and rushed to see his wife at the altar where his wife slumped and died and wept bitterly . Even the elders and the few guards who escorted them also wept bitterly too. Then the king looked at the oracle and saw a huge rock and tried to hit the oracle but the oracle said" Your majesty am sorry for the death of your wife she was so brave and never again will I kill anyone from your kingdom again" And the oracle disappeared. Then the king dropped the rock and carried the body of his wife back to the mesilia kingdom with the elders and few of the palace guards. In the morning, the king sent a guard to call his children and when his children came they both said" Good morning dad"The king replied and said" Good morning to you both". Then the princess said" Dad where is mom? They both looked at their dad naturally thinking nothing. Then the king said" That is a very good question". Then he said" Come let me show you where she is" They followed their dad to the palace and saw the elders just standing close to a casket and when they got closer they saw their mom inside the casket and they didn't understand. The prince asked" Dad what happened to our mother please tell us dad" This time around they were weeping and shaking their dad and the king was silent for a while and spoke" Your mom sacrificed her life for the sake of our people I begged her not to but she said it was for the best . There is an evil oracle that killed her but that evil oracle won't be disturbing us or this kingdom anymore." The princess said" But you could have found another way to save her or stop her from sacrificing her life there was supposed to be another way". The king was weeping and then replied" There was no other way my children then he hugged them and they wept even more. Gosmolt stopped the movement of the power and kahu asked" Why did you stop? Gosmolt replied" Iam feeling tired all of a sudden I guess I used much of my powers but I know the rest of the story". Kahu replied" Ok am so sorry". Gosmolt replied" It's alright. You see kahu that same evil oracle came back after so many years and started killing the people of the mesilia kingdom but in a silent way. It visited the peasant people of the land and started killing them again. It killed them right there in their farm when they went early in the morning to cultivate their crops. So like the others it killed flora's parents your wife but luckily for flora it didn't kill her because when her parents were farming flora was eating at a distance then the snakes striked and as a little girl she was, she saw her parents slumped dead and also saw the snakes and she started running and shouting the snakes pursued her but luckily for her she encountered a hunter on her way and showed the snakes to him he pointed at the snakes as they tried to come much closer, the hunter shot at the snakes three times but the snakes were still coming and the queen who sacrificed herself for her people appeared in front of them but only flora could see her and was amazed. And the queen turned back quickly and told her not to say anything and flora nodded. She stood there defending them and the snakes stopped and disappeared and she too disappeared. The hunter took the child to the king and told him all that happened and the king decided to adopt her. The king placed an order that people should not go to the farm again early in the morning but at the mid day when the sun is set. Why he place that order was not only because of what happened to flora's parents but he had heard reports about deaths of other farmers and their family when they went to the farm as early as in the morning to cultivate their crops. They were victims of such killings so after that order the mysterious snakes stopped killing until now they want to kill your wife because she escaped it and possibly she is the chosen one that will destroy the oracle and also the queen is with her". Kahu was surprised and was scared then said" Gosmolt can't you destroy this evil oracle" . Gosmolt replied" It's power surpasses that of mine but the spirit of your wife is stronger than you think". Kahu replied" But there should be another way". Gosmolt replies" You must believe in your wife . Do your best to encourage her". I will take my leave now but will still visit .When she wakes up tell her that if she has that same dream she should try and visit that cave of that evil oracle. Let her remember that she can control her dream and that she should not be afraid but that she should confront it and destroy it". Then kahu replied" I will". And Kahu hugged him and saw him off. As gosmolt was alone on a narrow path which lead to his destination, the mysterious snakes appeared in front of him and he said" I know why you are here but you won't defeat me". As they tried to strike, gosmolt casted a slow spell on the snakes so they moved quietly to him like a snail and got tired then they disappeared and gosmolt smiled and continued to move with courage. Then later that day around evening, there was a knock at the door and when kahu opened the door, lo and behold it was Prince henry. Kahu was surprised and the prince replied" Are you surprised to see me? Kahu replied" No I mean yes iam my prince you know it's the guards that go for errands and not a royal prince or did you come to see us". The prince replied" Yes I came as an errand man this time around to tell you that we are inviting you and your wife for a get together dinner this night so you and your lovely wife should prepare and may I come in? Kahu replied" Sorry for my manners my prince pls do come in". The prince came in and sat down then he said" So where is your beautiful wife is she busy inside? Oh and like you said, i also came to check on you guys". Kahu replied" Thank you my prince". "You are welcome" the prince replied. Kahu continued" Well my wife is not feeling too well so she's fast asleep". The prince was shocked and said" What happened to her".Kahu replied "Nothing much she just got sick I guess it's the co...l ...Before kahu could finish his sentence, Prince henry rushed into kahu's room but kahu did not understand why he rushed to see his wife. So when prince henry entered their room he saw Kahu's wife murmuring to herself and was moving her head while her eyes were closed. Prince henry could not really understand what was happening but concluded within himself that Kahu's wife was a witch and behave like one. Prince henry looked at kahu and patted him on his right shoulder and said" It is well just take care of her if you won't come for dinner" And kahu saw him off and said to him saying" Extend my greetings to the king and his family and please do tell him the reason why I and my wife can not come.Prince henry replied" Of course I will go and take care of your lovely wife" And the prince waved back and was gone. While Kahu smiled and said (within himself)" I guess the prince does not have any grudges against me again he seems friendly, caring and understanding and kahu entered inside his house. As he entered inside, he heard his wife calling him with a weak tone of voice saying" my love! ... My l..o..v ..e." and he rushed to the bed room to see her. As he got there, he saw her seated already and he was amazed and came close to her side and also put her head on his shoulder and said" Are you alright my sweet heart? She replied" Yes iam". Flora asked" Where did you go? Kahu replied" Oh I went to see prince henry off. He said that the king my father invited us for dinner this night. Am thinking it has do with another get together celebration but only for the family". Flora said" Don't you think we should go? Kahu replied" No my love I told the prince that I won't because of your condition and I told him to explain the whole situation to the king am sure the king will understand". Flora replied"Ok if you say so". Kahu carried her and laid her head on the bed and he also laid too on the bed then looking directly at her he asked" Do you still see those snakes in your dream? Flora replied" Yes my love.. I still see them...they were still chasing after me like they did earlier but when they caught me and tried to strike then someone saved me. And that person was someone I have seen when I was a child that same person saved me. And when those dangerous snakes saw her they disappeared. She noticed that I was tired and immediately, she touched me and I felt relieved and my full strength came back. She said to me" It is in your power to stop the evil oracle killing our people". And i said" Our people. Pls explain I don't understand". She continued" I was the sacrificial lamb that sacrificed myself for the sake of our people my people i was a one time queen of the mesilia kingdom who sacrificed her life for the sake of her people. My husband the king then, tried to escape the calamity that befell our people although it was his fault and that of the elders at that time for making a treaty or covenant with the evil oracle which was a bad decision for them too". Flora said" I can not believe this but how can I be the chosen one that will destroy it? The queen continued" You are stronger than you think and besides this is your dream you own your dream and nothing should intimidate or overpower you in your own dream. You need to control your dream and overpower the evil oracle in it's cave in this dream". Flora said" But am scared very very scared those snakes are terrifying to behold at". Then the queen said" Don't worry I will be by your side and I will never leave you. You don't need to be scared because that's what makes them strong in this your dream and if they over power you or strike you in this your dream, you will die physically in the real world(or reality"). Flora got to her and hugged her and said" Please do stay by my side I promise to do the needful".The queen replied"It's alright I will". "And then i woke up flora said". Kahu nodded for a while and got up and sat on the bed looking straight at flora's eyes and said" All will be well and I believe in you. You can do it". He came closer to his wife who was still lying down and kissed her on her forehead and flora kissed him back on his lips and said"Thank you for listening and thank you for your encouragement you are truly the best husband a woman can ever ask for". Kahu smiled and said"You are welcome". Flora tried to get up but was still feeling weak and kahu said" What are you trying to do? Flora replied" I have been in the bed for a while and I also want to do the house chores and cook too". Kahu said" No need for that my lovely wife I your husband is at your service. I will do the house chores and cook". Flora laughed and said" You cook please we both know you can't cook". Kahu replied" Who said so I can really cook better than you". Flora laughed and said" You are just lying and you know that". They both laughed for a while then kahu came close to where she lay and held her hands and said" You really need to defeat that evil oracle in your dream ok". Flora replied" I will sir". Kahu continued" I think maybe gosmolt might come tomorrow". Flora remembered and said" Oh I forgot to ask about him. He has gone back home right? Yes he left. He could not do much but he opened up to what really happened back then in the past and that is something that I just don't want to talk about now. It's a long story". Flora replied" It's ok let me save my strength for now till all this is over". Kahu replied" "Yea". Then they both hugged themselves and Kahu said" I love you". Flora replied"I love you too".
Prince henry entered the palace and came to the dinning hall where his family were and everything was ready for the get together celebration. The dinning hall was decorated beautifully and variety of food were served at the dinning table. Then the king, seeing him from afar said"What happened where are they? Prince henry replied"They could not come kahu's wife is not feeling well". Princess patience said" Oh my gosh ! Are you serious? I hope she gets better?. The king replied" She will my dear she will get better". The queen replied" Well I can't understand this sickness just recently she just got married and now she's sick I hope she gets better". The prince replied" Yes mom she will and must get better". Prince henry asked" So dad, are we still going to have this"get together feast" today?. King rulx replied" No there is no need again this family is not complete without kahu my son present". The queen replied" So we are going to waste all this food away because your favorite son and his wife refused to show up". The king replied" What is the matter with you miriam kahu is like a son to you too". Queen Miriam noticed that she was acting non- challant concerning kahu and said" Am sorry your majesty I guess it was hunger that changed my attitude this morning. It won't repeat itself again". The king replied" It's alright I will go and visit kahu now and know how he's wife is faring". Princess patience said" Dad let me follow you too? The king smiling replied" Ok you can come too". The queen replied" Please my husband do greet our son and flora my daughter-in-law". The king replied" Ok I will". The king called a palace guard and said" Call me the physician and tell him to come to the palace immediately".The guard replied" Yes your majesty". And went to call the physician. As he reached to where the physician worked , he called out to him and the physician replied" Yes please is anything the matter? The palace guard replied" The king wants to see you at the palace immediately". Though, there were patients the physician and his assistant were attending to. So the physician replied" Ok pls let me have a word with my assistant then he went in and said" freb please do attend to the patients for me i want to see the king he really needs my attention".Freb replied" Ok sir i will". Then the physician and the palace guard both left for the palace immediately. As they arrived, the physician greeted the king bowing down saying" I greet you your highness may you live long". The king replied" You are welcome" patting him at his back. The physician also greeted the princess saying" Good day my princess". Princess patience replied" Good day". The physician said" I hurriedly came to know if there was any problem your majesty". The king replied" Yes there is a problem. My daughter-in law is sick and I want you to join us to go and see her". The physician replied" Ok your majesty let us be on our way". As they mounted on their horses, the prince who was viewing them from afar waved them bye and they rode speedily to kahu's place. Prince henry went in very angry and sat down at the dinning table and folded his hands looking down and also tapping his right feet. The queen asked him" Hope they have gone".(Enjoying her food)The prince replied" Yes they have". The queen replied";That's good. See my son whether your father likes it or not, you will be made king. Kahu is no match for you and remember he came from a poor background so stop worrying yourself ok". Prince henry replied" But why does he love kahu so much am i not his son too? The queen replied" Its ok my son your father loves you do not forget that ok .Won't you eat? Prince henry replied" Iam not hungry mom". Still feeling angry. Then the queen said" It's alright my son you are your father's favorite and nothing will change that. What is really wrong with kahu's wife? Prince henry replied" Oh i forgot about that i think kahu's wife is a witch". The queen replied" What! How can you say something like that! Don't allow kahu to hear that from you or." Prince henry replied" Or what mom but it's true kahu can do his worst if he hears it from me am not afraid of him". The queen said" But why do you say such? Prince henry replied" When i visited kahu to tell him about the get together celebration, i asked him about his wife but he told me that she was sick but i didn't believe him so i went into their room my self to see and i saw her lying down and shaking her head like a witch and am sure she was probably incantating with her lips why she was asleep". The queen was shocked and said" My son are you sure of all you have just told me now". The prince replied" Am very sure mom very very sure and i think that dad and my sister should know about it even though dad might not want to believe it. I just don't know what charm that kahu has used on my dad that whenever it's about him or his wife flora the king will not listen to me his own son". The queen said" It's ok my son you know that we should keep to ourselves and not bring any slight suspicion that we hate kahu or his wife because the whole subjects or people of this kingdom will accuse us if anything happens to kahu or his wife flora. What I know is that you will become king and nothing will change that ok". Prince henry replied" Ok mom I trust you"(now smiling). The queen replied" That's my boy please eat something ok I don't want this whole food on this table to be a waste ok". The prince replied" Ok mom". And prince henry tried to serve food for himself then the queen said" What are you doing? The prince replied" Oh I want to serve the food I guess am really hungry". Then the queen replied" You are the future king of this kingdom so you don't need to serve yourself let me call one of the maids to serve you". Prince henry replied" ( now blushing) Mom please am not a baby I can serve myself". But the queen insisted" No my son you should not serve yourself then she called out to one of the maids saying" evelyn! evelyn! Then the maid by name evelyn came in to the dining hall as quickly as possible and replied"( bowing down) Yes your majesty". The queen replied" Now serve your future king prince henry". The maid named evelyn replied" As you wish your majesty". Then she began to put the food for the prince and after putting the food, the prince decided to eat but the queen said" You must feed your future king too". Then the prince said" Mom! The queen replied" You are my son and you should be treated special". Prince henry replied" Mom please am an adult I can feed myself ok". The queen insisted and said" You must be fed and now talking to evelyn the maid" Feed my son or else you will loose your postion as a maid in this palace". Then the maid being afraid replied" Of course your majesty please I don't want to loose my job then she started feeding the prince while standing up the prince was not comfortable with it but started getting comfortable with it and was staring at the maiden with a lustful eye and the maiden was not feeling comfortable about it with the way the prince was staring at her. No doubt the maiden evelyn was beautiful with a good shape as a lady and she was attractive too. She was in her late 20's too.
Now there was a knock at the door and kahu went to open the door and lo and behold it was the king the physician and the princess patience and kahu hugged them each with a surprising look but he hugged his father much longer and he said" You all are welcome please do come in". And they came in. Kahu's wife who was in the kitchen cooking now came out and greeted them saying" You all are welcome and bowed down to the princess and the king and the king said" Flora my daughter-in-law how are you? She replied" Am fine your majesty ". Sitting together on the same seat with her husband and the king said" The prince my son said that your wife is not feeling well and that is why I came with the physician and my daughter. Please kahu let the physician check her body to know what's wrong with her ok". Then kahu said" But I don't think that's necessary dad my wife is fine". The king replied" I still insist kahu my son". Then kahu replied" Ok dad". The physician then checked flora and said" Well your majesty the prince wife is fine and she does not have any illness or symptom what so ever". The king, prince(kahu) and princess were surprised then the king said" Are you sure? The physician replied" Yes your majesty. Please your majesty permit me to take my leave because I have some patients to take care of". The king replied" it's alright thank you for making yourself available you can go now". The physician replied" Any time your majesty (bowing down)and said to the prince" My prince your wife just need enough rest that's all". Prince kahu replied" It's ok she will thank you". The physician replied" You are welcome my prince ".And then he left to cater for his patients.Then kahu went and shut the door then came back and sat close to his wife. Then princess patience said" Well am surprised that flora is fine could it be that my brother was lying to us dad? Kahu replied" No my sister the prince was not lying my wife is not feeling well but I am surprised the physician did not find any illness on her I guess what is wrong with my wife is not a physical problem but spiritual". The king and the princess were surprised and the king asked" What do you mean by spiritual my son? Then kahu said" My wife is being chased by some mysterious snakes in her dream that killed her parents and those snakes want to kill her too and when she have those dreams she gets feverish".( At this time flora was leaning on her husband's shoulder). The princess said" Oh my gosh am so sorry flora but is there any solution to this". The king said" Yes my son is there any solution? Kahu replied" Well the solution is that she needs to defeat those snakes in her dream and also defeat an evil oracle too". The king was surprised when his son mentioned about an oracle and the king asked flora saying" Are you not scared at all? Flora replied" Your majesty i was but am no longer scared I believe I can do it". The king replied" Ok but I wish there was another way". Kahu replied" I don't think there is another way even gosmolt the wizard said that she needs to defeat the evil oracle and those snakes". The princess asked" So flora will you dream of those snakes again? Flora replied" Yes I think I will". Then kahu held her hands tight and they both looked at each other. Then the king said" Well I know all will be fine I would send two guards to stand watch at your home this night just to protect you guys". Then kahu replied" Dad please that will not be necessary really". The king replied" I insist my son". The princess replied" I could stay kahu i would be of help". Kahu replied" No my dear sister that will not be necessary don't worry we will be fine". The princess replied" Ok if you insist".The king said" I think it's getting late we will be on our way". Kahu replied" I thought you both will stay to eat? The king said" No my son don't worry another time we will take our leave now please take care of your wife and also take care of yourself ok". Kahu replied" Alright dad let me see the both of you off". Then kahu came back after seeing his father and step sister off. Then flora said" Am scared do you think I would defeat those snakes and the evil oracle?". Kahu replied" Yes my love i believe you can do it"( holding her hands). Flora smiled and kissed him and they both hugged each other. King rulx and his daughter princess patience came back that night. Princess patience went to her chambers while the king summoned two guards saying" kunt and livlr come here". They both came and (bowing down)responded " Yes your majesty". Then the king said" I want the both of you to go and safe guard the crown prince kahu and his family this night till tomorrow ok". The two palace guards replied together " Yes your majesty". And they left immediately to kahu's home. Then from behind the prince walked towards to his father the king saying" Dad why are the palace guards going to safe guard kahu's home". The king turned and said to him" Well it's for their own good that's all". The king asked" Why have you not gone to bed? Prince henry replied" Well there is something i want to discuss with you". The king replied" Won't you tell me tomorrow morning is it that serious? Prince henry replied"Yes it is serious dad and it won't wait till tomorrow morning". The king asked" So what's the problem come let's sit at the palace hall and discuss it". Prince henry replied" Ok dad".( They were now sitting down in the palace hall). Then the king said" Please my son go on". Prince henry was happy that his father wants to listen to him and said" Dad it's about kahu my step brother". The king replied" What about him? The prince said" Dad don't you think we should know whether kahu has done anything evil in the past before making him king when you must have joined your ancestors because it could affect this kingdom and the throne too". The king replied" Well i don't think my son kahu would have any bad records that will stop him from being the next king". The prince replied" Dad you can not just say that without asking him personally and telling him to say or tell you the truth about himself". The king replied" My son kahu is pure and i don't think there is anything to ask him. He will be the next king after me and that's final". The prince said" But... dad...". The king replied" No but your brother will be the next king of this kingdom this discussion is over am off to bed". The prince replied" Good night your majesty (now in an angry mood)and went back to his chamber after his dad went to bed.
Later that night, flora had that same dream and this time the woman was with her in that dream and she asked" Please where are we? Queen roseline replied" We are close to the cave where that evil oracle stays come let us go". And as they entered the cave those snakes appeared but this time they were big and dangerous and flora was scared but queen roseline touched her hands and said" Remember my dear this is your dream you can control it and do whatever you like". So flora got courage from her words and as the snakes tried to attack them she closed her eyes and imagined of a strong protection veil so as she imagined it, the veil protected them from the attack of the snakes as it uses it's teeth to hit or bite the veil. Queen Roseline was surprised and happy and she said" Good one my dear so what will you do about the snakes? Then flora closed her eyes again and thought of freezing the snakes and as the snakes were frozen, she thought of burning them and it happened and the snakes were burnt to ashes and disappeared and as they got to the end of the cave, the oracle tried to kill them by making the inner cave so cold and freezing that flora was bleeding in reality but then she managed to warm herself and queen roseline and triple herself close to the oracle and her triple self used a big rock she imagined and immediately crushed the oracle to pieces and it became powerless then all of a sudden the cave started shaking and began collapsing gradually and queen roseline said" We must move out now". Flora nodded and they ran out fast and came out of the cave immediately before it collapsed. Flora felt her peace once again in her dream and hugged queen roseline and said" Thank you for being by my side and am grateful my queen". Queen roseline smiled and said" You are welcome my daughter I guess my work here is done you will never see those snakes or that evil oracle in your dream again". Flora asked" But is it destroyed physically? Queen roseline replied" Well it's powers is destroyed temporarily but not permanently but it won't bother you anymore". Then flora asked again" Will it bother the people of the mesilia kingdom? Queen roseline replied" No it won't my dear". Flora replied" Ok I will miss you" ( now flora was hugging her again)Queen roseline replied" I will miss you too but it's time for you to wake up and before flora knew what was happening, she already woke up and it was a beautiful morning in the land of the kehita kingdom and as she woke up she saw her husband sleeping besides her and she turned to his side and smiled and then said" Thank you darling for believing in me". And she got up and began to do the house chores with happiness and joy filled in her heart and as kahu was waking up,he touched the side where he's wife lay opposite to his and was shocked when he could not find his wife in bed and rushed out of the bed to know if he's wife was ok but when he got to the sitting room, he saw his wife singing and chanting a cultural song they sang when they were little and kahu was surprised and asked with excitement saying" What is going on? Then his wife replied" Good morning my love". Then he replied" Good morning beautiful". Then she said" Well your wife defeated the snakes and the evil oracle". So kahu was shocked and immediately carried up his wife and said" I knew you could do it and you did am so happy for you darling". Flora replied" Really? Kahu replied" Yes am so happy for you". And kissed her and they danced around the sitting room as he carried her and they both were chanting the song together..
