As soon as Neo and Neopolitan regrouped with Raven and Pyrrha, they went over their own fights and abilities. Gilgamesh hadn't gone all out. Though that was more due to the fact that the underground would collapse if he did and his summoner irked him. Tenmei Mikogami had replaced Asura as the Kishin, somehow. Neo knew about him being a 'Kishin' in Rosario + Vampire but Soul Eater was vastly different in how powers worked. Even then, the Tenmei Mikogami she fought was absurdly strong. Arachne herself was incredibly gifted in magic too. More so than the original.
"He had the madness wavelength too. Kinda like this aura around him that drives you crazy. I was barely hanging on there for a few moments.." Neo chuckled to herself as she saw Neopolitan nod in response.

Before they were going to say anything else, a notification popped up.

Faster than they could even blink, another notification arrived.

The system, either having no more patience for this or the timer ran out, opened up a portal below her, dropping her onto something soft again. Lifting her head, she heard what sounded like a moan. Right before her eyes were black and white striped panties. Apparently she took a cue from Yuuki Rito and had landed on top of Blake in a sixty-nine position.
"Ohh~ Well hello, Kitty" Blake heard Neo say.
"Are you.. talking to my pu-" Blake cut herself off as soon as Neo laughed.
"Ah I missed you, Blake!" Neo sat up on her lap and hugged her, bringing a smile to Blake's face.
"I missed you too. Work's been-" Blake then realized where they were and what situation they were in.
They were in a lush forest. It wasn't too hot or too cold. There was a Nevermore flying nearby. One of them was attacking who looked to be Ruby but grown up and mature looking while Weiss was attacking it atop its back. The rest of their team was there, gaping at the new appearance of Neo and Blake. They all looked similar to the ones they knew but far more mature looking. Then there were the others around them. Team JNPR and even CRDL. They were at the ruins in the Emerald forest and nearby were the chess pieces that were yet to be collected.
"They look... slicker? More fashionable? Like they belong in Final Fantasy! Yup, that's the one" Neo said as she got up and saw a Deathstalker join the fight.
Blake stood up after her as the newly formed teams started their fight against the Grimm. She looked over to her counterpart in fascination as she effortlessly maneuvered around the Nevermore. Overall it looked like her counterpart was stronger than she had been at this point in time. All of them were. The Grimm seemed stronger as well but they were being bullied by the two teams while team CRDL just ran after grabbing the pieces.
"What's up with this Remnant? They seem stronger than we were. Different clothes too" Blake commented as they both stood there and observed their fight.
"Not only that but did you notice? Ruby's legs are prosthetic. They look a lot more high-tech too. Yang's arm is too, though it looks like she didn't care to make it look real. The weapons look and feel deadlier too. It feels like we ended up in the Final Fantasy Seven version of Remnant" Neo mused, looking far more interested in this world than she was before.
"Jaune even looks.. competent? He could actually beat Yang and Ruby from our world.." Blake muttered, watching Jaune take a pincer off the Deathstalker.
"Pyrrha's armor is even hotter here too" Neo added, catching a sneaking Beowolf by its head and destroying it with a large burst of lightning from her palm.
"I'm not even surprised you focused on that. Taking notes?" Blake sarcastically asked, only to see Neo actually taking notes.
"What? I think you'd look good in this Blake's drip. Oh hey, it's over" Neo commented as she watched both of the Grimm dissolve into black motes of dust.
The not yet named teams JNPR and RWBY all came back to where the two were. One thing Blake noticed was that her counterpart didn't wear a ribbon like she used to. The first to strike up a conversation was Ruby.
"Um.. hello? You're new students too, right? You have to grab the pieces! And.. uh.." She looked at the two Blakes, who clearly wanted to say something to the other but remained quiet.
"Oh you go ahead. We'll be riiiight behind you" Neo gave her a thumbs up as Ruby's eyes lit up in joy and she grabbed Neo's cheeks.
"Oh my GODS you're so so so so CUTE! Yang! Look at her! She's so small and dressed up like a Witch!" Ruby was close to bearhugging the smaller girl as Yang broke out into a giggle fit.
Neo's face heated up a bit. She was still in her Soul Eater clothes, which looked like cosplay here. She looked at her Blake for help but she was trying to hold in her laughter once Ruby had smooshed Neo's cheeks in. Neo slapped her wrists away and massaged her now pink cheeks.
"OKAY thanks.. Now go on. You wouldn't wanna be too late, right?" Neo convinced them to leave as Ruby finally snapped out of her cuteness haze.
"Oh gods she's right! Come on, team!!" Ruby took off in a hurry, followed by a snickering Yang, a quiet Blake and a sighing Weiss.
Soon both Neo and Blake were left behind in the forest. Neo used her semblance to change her appearance back to her original outfit as she walked with Blake through the forest.
"So.. are we attending? I think the changes stretch beyond the appearances and skills of our counterparts" Blake asked, thinking back to how different they all seemed.
"Fuck me.. I forgot! I really don't wanna go back to school.." Neo groaned.
"....But there are opportunities there... Such as kicking Cardin in the balls again.." Neo wondered out loud if attending and explaining to Ozpin 3.0 was worth the justified abuse of Cardin's Cardick.
"Is that really the only thing that motivates you to enter Beacon again..?" Blake sighed as Neo pulled her in by the shoulder.
"No, Blake! There's the technology, kicking Cardin in the nuts, the new cool outfits, smashing Cardin's potatoes, the improved weapons and of course, let's not forget.. turning Cardin's coin purse inside out, Mortal Kombat Fatality style.." Neo said while raising her hand to the sky.
"I know he's a racist ass but you're going a bit too hard there.. Ah whatever.. I'm just happy I get to spend some time with you" Blake rubbed her cheek on Neo's head as a small pur escaped her throat.
~Cat girls are the best, man..~ Neo just chuckled in contentment as they finally made their way out of the forest.
What they saw once they got out was something they never expected. Vale was far more populous and advanced looking than the city they knew. It looked much like Academy City, with Beacon all the way in the back, towering over the city.
"You know I think this quest just became more interesting, Blake"
