He chewed and chewed his food, he gargled and drank the water that was left in his glass, and started talking.
"What for? For you to just lay in your bed having chatmates and not listen to what I say? You don't fully know yourself bro, last minute you were asking me to teach you math but now you're telling me to make your room our study venue? No way Bro! Agreeing to study in your room means I gave you permission to sleep during my explanation of lessons." Talin scolded his lazy ass younger brother.
"Ohh right, oh right you're not a top student for no reason" Gayo clenched his jaw as he raised his eyebrows.
"Give me that," Talin commanded his brother, pointing out the books.
Gayo in a flash gave the books to his brother and took his seat right beside him. While his brother was choosing a topic, he picked up his phone from his pocket and played his favorite song, "Line without a hook" with his mind staying afloat. Alone with his thoughts of his happiness if he was playing online mobile games with his friends right now. He did not take notice of his brother being annoyed with him staring at the flower vase on the table.
Talin took his brother's phone away to hide it from him before he got super lazy and decided not to study anymore. Gadgets were not really prohibited from him but knowing his brother he chose to keep Gayo from distractions. He could not imagine facing his mom if Gayo failed to pass the remedial exams. Apparently, he could face the same bullshit his mother could give Gayo too.
What he did worked out, Gayo got the terms and the lessons in a short period of time. He gave his brother some problems to test his learning for the topic. He was shocked, his brother did not wait for the timer to end. Gayo got to answer the ten problems in just ten minutes instead of the twenty minutes Talin gave him.
He was still confused and wanted to ensure his brother's answers were correct. He read the problems and checked Gayo's answers thoroughly, sighing at its softness, he glanced at his brother and smiled at him.
"I know you think I am always in the technology field because that's the only field I put my attention to. But in some ways, I want to assure you that I am willing to pass each semester." Gayo uttered.
"Good job bro! That was quick, I thought you were going to give me a headache after this, turns out I have nothing to worry about your focus. Alright, study sessions are finally over!" Talin said while approaching his brother for an applause.
Gayo felt himself drifting off to sleep while he was still sitting. It was so blissful not until he heard his older brother snap his fingers to put him back into their conversation.
"Looks like you are lacking sleep, go get some rest," His older brother said tapping his right shoulder about to stand up because he felt his butt hurt from sitting for a long time.
"Are we done "Teach"?" A voice from afar said, which made the boys glance around to find where the voice was coming from. "Hey I'm right here, look up" the voice that seemed to come from their mother said.
They complied and looked up. Yes! you were right, it was Mrs.Cuevas who spoke.
"Wait, Ma I thought you were going to work early," Talin asked his mom as his vision came in contact with a happy face.
"Mrs. Gu called, she said that I can take my work break during Sundays" Mrs. Cuevas said, confirming that she does not have to work on Sundays. She walked downstairs going to the kitchen where the boys were studying. She spread her arms and gave her sons a hug.
"I love you babies"
"Ma get off me, I'm not a baby anymore!" Gayo screamed and pushed his mom and brother away.
"Shut your mouth Ayo! No matter how grown you've got you guys are still babies to me" Mrs. Cuevas told her youngest son.
"For twice in my life, I was right that I raised you two to be strong and lovely boys." She added.
"Please don't tell Abby and Eunice that I am your baby, Please Ma" Gayo begged.
"Idiot! Why would you beg mom to do that for your crushes huh?You never changed, you are still a simp!" Talin scolded as he slightly hit his brother using his left elbow.
"By the way Ma and Bro, I'm sure you recalled my crushes Abby and Eunice right?
"Stop admiring twins son!" Mrs. Cuevas said as she frowned.
"Yeah, you can admire any lady as you want but bro why the Mondero twins?" His older brother asked in confusion.
"Umm calm the tension guys, I'll answer your questions one at a time. First of all, Abby is elegant, smart and she's a soft girl that's why I'm a simp for her but guys Eunice is my first love, she's neat, gorgeous and also smart." Gayo proudly said.
"In love my foot! Learn to maintain high grades first!" Talin scolded his younger brother again.
"Bro stop being an old man! I'm all grown up and I know love better than you do and besides all your crushes before were all out of your league haha" His younger brother responded with a tease.
"I mean it literally bro, stop obsessing about ladies they'll do nothing good, they're gonna break your heart" Talin added.
"And what should I be obsessed with huh? BOYS?!"
The two guys stopped their jokes and began to walk to their rooms. Talin couldn't stop thinking about his brother's question.
To your silent query, yes I'll be attracted to guys of course I'm still Ves! I may not have experienced being in love but I once had a crush on a man.
