He's Wyke Ross. He was the child of the owner of the famous skincare brand "Ever Organicx". Wyke had huge muscles, a broad chest, and a pair of athletic long legs. Yes, he was hot with his well-trimmed ash black hair, porcelain skin, and green eyes. He was the tallest guy Ves has ever met. But above all of his features, his sharp jaw and great smile were his best assets. Wyke's presence alone was enough to make the girls swoon.
"I won't lie to you though, we actually dated once but it did not work out. He began having an eye for every beautiful woman he has encountered while we were dating, yes! He was a womanizer. But before you guys hate him, I was not heartbroken or anything like that because all I had for him was pure infatuation. So I let him do whatever he wanted and we stayed friends after that." Ves said as she explained herself to Talin's face right in front of the dirty face mirror.
"AND THAT WAS DURING SECONDARY EDUCATION! NO MORE NEXT AFTER THAT"
So due to this fact, Talin might fall in love with a man more than a woman but RELAX Ves was always in control of unwanted emotions.
..
Talin sat down on his bed and produced a Diastolic murmur book from his bag before he placed it on his mini desk. He then zipped the bag and kept it beside his right foot. His phone rang about an hour later, it was from Arvin. At first, he did not pick the call up but his classmate called five times in a row.
"What do you want?" Talin asked as he picked up Arvin's call.
"Hi Tal! Are you free tonight? There's an anime festival I know" Arvin excitedly told his classmate the good news since he knew Tal was into that kind of stuff.
As much as he wanted to, his fear of letting somebody in his life controlled him and he remembered he still needs to study for their test tomorrow.
"I am not interested." He said as he put the call to an end.
Tal went back to studying, his eyes scanned every word of every page till he spotted the keywords for his tests tomorrow.
"Thank God, this was not that hard" he breathe in relief but he guess he might speak too soon because the teacher that will be encharge for their exam tomorrow was Mrs. Guevara, she was known for being the highly meticulous teacher at Wellington University.
It has been a week since he came to the university and he can say that it was going well, that was apart from the glares of his judgemental classmates and schoolmates. But he can tolerate all of that because being one of the University's scholars, he himself can say he was fortunate enough to prepare for his future.
"Well, tomorrow is the start of another week being Talin" Ves said as she sighed. Tal shook his head to rid it of stressful thoughts despite that their class monitor calls and messages him every time hoping to make him as his friend. Speaking of, he has noticed that Arvin, just like him, was also an outcast. How does he know? Well, it was because the students in his class were having their circle of friends except for him, this one girl in class he did not know, and Arvin.
The three of them had their eyes landed on fantasy characters every break time. Sometimes, due to his tiredness from work Tal would take his vacant time to take a power nap.
He was about to open the last book he needed to study but he heard Mrs. Cuevas' voice coming from the hallway.
"Talinooooo! Sweetiee!" Mrs. Cuevas shouted as she was about to open her son's room door.
"Hey, sweetie are you okay?"
Tal slightly nodded, Mrs. Cuevas looked at him in confusion.
"Do you want to tell me something Ma? He asked.
Mrs. Cuevas stared at her son curiously, wondering what had she done to obtain such a responsible son.
"You paid the water and electricity bill, Thank you Son!" His mom said as she smiled at him.
"It's no big deal Ma, I told you I would help you out" He quickly stood up and walked over to his mother, he widened his arms and hugged her.
"Oh my darling, I am always thankful to the lord that he gave you a second chance to live."
"What is it that you are talking about Ma?" Talin asked in confusion.
"Don't be sad my dear Talin, you almost died committing suicide, well actually you died for almost six seconds but from then on I believed in miracles because after that five seconds your heart beat came back son." Mrs. Cuevas heavily sighed.
"Why would I do that?"
"Because of your insecure bullies son, they harassed you and put so much shame on you that day, you attempted to hang yourself because of them. But you know what? In the end, the bad ones end up more sad seeing that the one they used to bully is living life happier than them." She said as she proudly put a curved on her lips and patted her son's head.
"I owe it to God, he saved you. Anyways, you are still studying, right? Go ahead, take your time. I'll be outside to buy some groceries, you know your brother won't last a day if he has nothing to chew every time he craves food to eat." Mrs. Cuevas uttered as she got out of Tal's room.
Tal felt sleepy, but he needed to be against it for him to score high on the test.
"Maybe I just need some light to wake me up," He spoke.
Opening his window's curtains, he sat by his window side staring out at the plants his mom was taking care of. He was ready to feed the loneliness of his room with his Spotify playlists. It was like his playlists knew what was going on in his mind, he played the song "Death bed" by Powfu and he listened attentively.
