One week later — two days before leaving Gurye, Taehyung went to his café to meet Min-ho and Yuna. He has already informed them about his plans of moving to Seoul, but not yet about joining BTS. Today, he has a lot of great news for the couple.
"So, have you told your parents yet?" Min-ho asked.
"Yes, they already know. I was actually a bit hurt seeing thier reaction. They were actually so happy. You know, for being an only son I was expecting them to cry and beg me to stay." Taehyung said, pouting.
"You're just being too dramatic again. Taetae, Seoul is three hours away. They can easily go visit you or vice-versa." Yuna.
"I wish it would be that easy. I'm afraid I will be very very busy."
"Busy with what? Jungkook?" Yuna asked, giggling.
"Yes, Jungkook PLUS the rest of BTS, then, there are rehearsals, recordings, tours and such."
"Wait, wait, wait! What are you saying?!??" Yuna asked with eyes wide open.
"I'll be the seventh number of BTS." Taehyung said smiling to his bestfriends.
Min-ho and Yuna were both ecstatic. They were jumping and hugging Taehyung like crazy.
"I cannot believe this, Tae!! I'm so happy for you. Oh my God, my best friend is an idol!!" Min-ho said while hugging Taehyung.
"Taehyung, please bear in mind that I am Army and I'm your best friend. So, please don't forget me. Please send concert tickets and merch items." Yuna jokingly said.
Taehyung laughed at Yuna. "You don't even have to remind me. But, I can't believe you. That was the first thing in your head?! Not even the fact that you'll be missing me?!"
"No, I was just kidding. Of course I'll miss you dumbass. And, the café would be lonely without you." Yuna pouted.
"About that. Listen, I've decided to transfer the ownership of the café to both of you. Since I'd be gone, and you'll practically manage it by yourself, Yuna, I think it would just be fitting for both of you to have it."
"No way. Taehyung, I think that would be too much." Yuna said.
"I insist. Just think of it as my advanced wedding gift. Besides, you're practically family to me. And I love this cafe so much that I can't just sell it to some stranger."
"Oh, Taetae. I don't know what to say." Min-ho said.
"You don't have to say anything. Just promise me that you two will be taking care of each other while I'm away. No fighting, no breaking up. Nothing of that, okay?"
Before they can even continue with their conversation, they were interrupted by a sound of a bell, indicating that there's a customer who just came in.
Taehyung looked over to the door to find Hyung-Sik. He walked over and approached him.
"Hey, Tae. Can we talk?" Hyung-sik said and Taehyung nodded as he led the other to a corner table beside the store window.
"Listen, Tae, I just want to say sorry for how I acted the last time. And, I'm really sorry for not reaching out to you for the past five years. I don't know why I was even expecting for you to wait for me, considering the fact that we were never really official nor we never agreed to anything when I left."
"It's okay, Hyung-sik. I never really held a grudge against you for not contacting me. I mean, just like you said, we were never official, you never did ask me to be your boyfriend. That's why when you left, I just thought that there wasn't really anything serious between us. Well, at least that's how you made me feel back then."
"I know. I realize how foolish I was and I regret it. I'll probably regret it for the rest of my life. Leaving you was the biggest mistake that I've done."
"Hey, cheer up. We can still be friends you know. I might see you in Seoul."
Hyung-sik became excited, a glimmer of hope that there could still be a chance appeared.
"You're moving to Seoul?!"
"Yes, I'm moving in with Jungkook." Teahyung said, not bothering to elaborate on BTS' living arrangements. While he and Jungkook will be roommates in the Bangtan house, Jungkook also offered for Taehyung to live with him in his penthouse. So, technically, what he said was true.
Just like that, hope was lost for Hyung-sik.
"Wow, it's that serious, huh?"
"Yes, it is."
While Taehyung and Hyung-sik were talking, Min-ho was actually eavesdropping on the other table. And, when he felt the conversation getting awkward he decided to jump in — always being the savior bestie to Taetae.
"Hey, Hyung-sik! Nice to see you again. Can I get you anything?"
"Hey, Min! No, it's all right I'm heading out anyway." He turns to Taehyung.
"Thanks for your time, Tae. Hope we can catch up again in Seoul."
"Yeah, sure."
"Can I at least get a goodbye hug?"
"Okay." Taehyung stood up and Hyung-sik went close and hugged him. What Taehyung didn't expect though was a peck on the cheek from the older.
Taehyung stepped back and pushed him slightly. Just then, the door to the café swung open. Apparently, a raven-haired boy, with a mask on, saw everything from outside the café.
"Am I interrupting something?" Jungkook asked with a disdainful tone.
"Kookie! No, you weren't and Hyung-sik here is leaving NOW. Right, hyung?" Taehyung glared at Hyung-sik as he wiped his cheek.
"I'n sorry, Tae. I didn't mean to —"
"You've done enough. Just go." Taehyung said rather harshly.
With that, Hyung-sik nodded and was about to leave when Jungkook grabbed his arm.
"Stay away from him." Jungkook warned him.
Hyung-sik just nodded, retracted his arm and left.
"What the hell was that?" Jungkook said and then poked his cheek with his tongue.
"That is Hyung-sik being a jerk." Min-ho was the one who answered him.
Taehyung went to Jungkook and placed his arms around his waist.
"Just let it go, Kookie. It was nothing. He was just saying goodbye. He won't be bugging us anymore. Okay?" Taehyung said trying to calm him down.
Jungkook nodded and hugged Taehyung back.
"Guys!" Yuna said to get their attention. She then looked at another table with a group of girls then back at them, gesturing that there are other people in the cafe.
Taehyung instantly backed away from the hug and mouthed sorry to Jungkook. Just then, one of the girls stood up and went to Taehyung.
"Hi. You're Kim Taehyung, right?" The girl said and Taehyung said yes.
"My friends and I were at the festival and we saw you perform with BTS. I actually met your mom too (she giggled). We're just wondering if we can get your autograph?" The girl said shyly, not realizing that The Jeon Jungkook was the masked guy beside Taehyung.
Since the girl looked friendly and quite polite Taehyung said yes. The girl handed him a notebook. Taehyung then turned to Jungkook and whispered, "What do I write on these things?"
Jungkook chuckled on Tae's cuteness and just told him to write a short message and then his signature. So, he did, and then gave the notebook back to the girl. The girl bowed and went back to her friends.
Taehyung turned to Jungkook, "Kookie, she's so nice can we perhaps introduce you to them? There's no one else here anyway. And, they look like they're from here. Two of them are regular customers."
Jungkook pinched Taehyung's cheeks. "You're so adorable. Just remember that we can't do this anymore when we get to Seoul."
Taehyung shrieked. He then ran to lock the door, turning the store signage to "closed" and then pulled down the blinds of the windows, making sure that no one could see what's going on inside the cafe.
The girls noticed what Taehyung was doing and they were all confused. Taehyung approached their table dragging Jungkook.
"Hello again, Jiwon. Just like to introduce you to my friend over here."
They all turned to Jungkook and watched him remove his mask.
The five girls screamed on top of their lungs, with three of them instantly crying.
"Hi, I'm Jungkook. Nice to meet you."
The girls couldn't believe their luck. Their new-found idol and their BTS bias was actually in front of them.
"H-hi. I-im Ji-jiwon and these a-are my friends, Van, Den, Sushki and Nari."
Jungkook waived at all of them.
"I can't believe this is happening right now. We were just talking about your last live and have been wondering when you'll be streaming again." The girl named Van said.
Jungkook chuckled.
"Can you sing for us?" Van said, with a hopeful expression.
"Can you and Taehyung sing together?" Ji-won said.
Jungkook and Taehyung looked at each other and both said sure. So, they did just that. Taehyung grabbed a water bottle and used it as a mic.

Jungkook couldn't get his eyes off Taehyung while singing. He just felt more in love with him right then and there and was so thankful that he was his.
They were having so much fun that they sang two more songs for the girls. But, then, it was time for them to go.
"It was really nice meeting you all. Unfortunately, we have to go. I hope you come back and visit this café often." Taehyung said.
"Thank you so much, Taehyung hyung and Jungkook-sshi?" Ji-won said and Taehyung chuckled.
"You can call me Jungkook hyung." Jungkook smiled.
"We have to go too. I bet our parents are wondering where we are right now." Ji-won giggled.
Before they left Taehyung asked for their numbers. He just adored the teenagers that he thought of inviting them to his first concert with BTS. But, of course he didn't tell them that. He just made a mental note of it. They also took a photo with them, agreeing that they won't share it on social media.
"Well, that was so much fun to watch!" Min-ho said.
"It was fun singing for them. I can get used to this, Kookie!" Taehyung said as he hugged Jungkook.
"I'd be disappointed if you two won't have a subunit. So, you'd better do that,l!" Yuna said.
"I hope so too. We sound good together." Jungkook said as he winked at Taehyung
"You look good together too." Yuna said.
"Wow, that's new. You'd usually tell me that you and Jeon Jungkook are meant for each other!" Min-ho teased his girlfriend.
Yuna's face went all red as he slapped Min-ho's arm.
Min-ho and Taehyung burst out laughing, continuously teasing Army Yuna 💜

The BTS couple left the cafe and went to the Kim's residence to tell them about Tae joining BTS. Both Hee-ae and Yong Jun were over-the-moon with the news and they were so proud of Taehyung.
Now, Jungkook and Taehyung were at the older's room to pack some of Taehyung's stuff.
"I can't believe I'm leaving this place. I'm having separation anxiety." Taehyung said as he was folding some clothes and putting them in a suitcase.
Jungkook backhugged Taehyung and rested his cheek on the latter's shoulder. "That's normal. But, don't worry, I will make sure your anxiety wears off when we get to Seoul. I'll make sure that you'd have the time of your life there."
"I'm torn whether to bring all my cameras or just leave them here. Kookie, do you think I would even have the time to use them?" Taehyung asked Jk.
"Of course you will. I suggest you bring at least two."
"But, I won't be able to develop the films myself."Taehyung pouted.
"We can come here one weekend and develop the films. Besides, I love your dark room." Jungkook said, while raising his eyebrows and smirking.
"You're such a perv." Taheyung giggled.
Jungkook gave Tae a peck on the cheek. "Thank you for agreeing to move in with me." Jungkook said softly.
Taehyung turned around and wrapped his arms around Jungkook's next.
"And, thank you for asking me. I don't think I could even survive a day or two without you." Taehyung pecked on Jungkook's lips.
"And yet you planned to leave me at the guest house to stay here for a few days."
"Hey, I went back, didn't I?"
"If I didn't come here to get you would you even consider going back for me?"
"Most likely." Taehyung chuckled.
"I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."
"Woe, are you proposing right now?" Taehyung raised his eyebrows.
"If I was, would you say yes?" Jungkook smirked.
Taehyung playfully smacked Jungkook's arm.
"I hate you. Ask me again properly, next time, and I'll think about it."
"I'll take note of that."
"I love you, Jeon Jungkook."
"And, I love you, Kim Taehyung."
They sealed that moment with a kiss, their hearts beating together and full of happiness as they look forward to their forever and always.
