Chapter 85 - Chapter 85 - A Talk With The Teacher

After the class had finished and our teacher had gauged the levels that we were at, the bell rang and everyone made their way to the cafeteria or met up with their friends. The school cycle worked in a way that after every lesson, you'd have a break.

So, you'd have your first class and then have your morning break or interval, and this would last for a short while and just let you have a snack, meet up with friends, or do whatever else you wanted. Then, you'd have your next class, and after that, it'd be lunch. Then you'd have your last class of the day, and after that, you were free to go home, stay in the school to do more training, go to the library, or even leave the school premises and head out to the city.

There was, of course, a curfew. Students had to be within the school's premises by 7pm, if they wanted to stay out later, they had to get permission from a teacher and provide a valid reason to said teacher.

"So, what'd you want?"

He then entered a fighting stance, raising his arms and entering a Muay Thai stance.

"You weren't going all out, were you? I hate to ask you this, but can you fight me seriously? Ana, or rather, the principal asked to make sure I was aware of your combat ability for the coming group activity."

"Is that so? Well, what am I going to get out of this? You can't expect me to do you a favor without something in return."

"Two things, first of all, I'll ignore the death threats you made towards Artorius. And second of all, I'll give you a bit of information on a certain man, or rather, a certain Demon Blood."

Then, I looked at him in the eyes.

"Pardon? Why would I care about Demons?"

I said, playing off what he was saying about Demon Bloods. I couldn't have my race exposed so soon. Maybe when I was strong enough to protect myself from people who had things against my kind, I would happily reveal myself, but it was too early now.

"Reinhardt Interitus. The only descendant of The House Of Destruction, well until now that is. Oh and don't worry, I'm a Demon Blood as well."

"Reinhardt Interitus..."

Then, I leapt into the air and drove both my knees into where his face was. He stepped out of the way, and so my knees came crashing down into the ground, causing the floor to break apart as cracks formed where my knees were.

"I know I didn't mention that you weren't to use Mana, but I thought you'd notice."

Then, I placed my hand on the ground and used it to leverage my body as I used it to push off the ground and give myself some space.

Alexander then took a step towards me and launched a punch at my face, I then looked down slightly and his fist met my forehead.

The forehead was one of the most durable pieces of bone in the body, it was there to protect the brain, and so it was a rather thick and strong piece of bone. It could be used offensively, as in headbutts, however it could also be used to protect from attacks like I was doing now.

"You were right, I did notice."

Then, I launched a punch at his liver, but he lowered his body making my fist slam into his ribs and causing a shock to ripple through his body.

"I'm not using Mana."

He was knocked off his balance and he ended up on the floor, blood slowly seeped from his head as he looked up at me.

"I suppose it was my fault for not taking it seriously despite Ana's warnings. But, your attitude, I don't like it. As your teacher, I'm gonna need to go teach you some humility."

He then stood up, his presence had changed entirely. He was no longer fighting his student, he was now fighting a person who he thought was worth fighting.

"You're gonna try to beat me? Well I'd like to see you fucking try."

I took a step forward, I wanted to fight this man. I wanted to crush him, it was a simple desire, however, it was one of the first things I had ever felt.

"You cocky little shit, you can't tell when you're out classed can you?"

Then, I launched an uppercut, making contact with his jaw and at the same time he launched a vicious right hook.

"Thing is, I've never met someone better at fighting than me."

I gritted my teeth, his blow was strong enough to knock some of my teeth out.

I then brought my fist to his solar plexus, and performed a one inch punch right on it. But to my surprise and joy, he didn't slow down when I attacked such a large cluster of nerves.

"Not bad, I'm gonna speed up now, keep up, Teach."

Then, I entered a boxing stance and threw a straight. True to my word, I sped up, but for some reason he took my attack head on. But, it was only then that I realized that he was just waiting, he then grabbed onto my arm and my collar bone and performed a Judo flip.

My body was then launched and I found myself on the floor; the amount of force he had used was ridiculous. If I was a normal student, I would've probably broken something. But, I wasn't normal.

When he raised his leg, attempting to stomp on me, I rolled out of the way and stood in front of him. Then, I performed the exact same move he did on me, using his collar bone as a grip and then I threw him into the floor. Of course, I made sure to hold back, but I still ended up creating a small crater.

"Teach, why'd you hold back?"

I looked down at him, he wasn't trying, I mean neither was I, but still. I felt a bit offended that he thought I wasn't worth using his full power on.

When I looked at him, I noticed that his face had darkened. It was as if he was holding back a giant shit, it was the sort of face that was extremely serious yet was trying to desperately to hold something back.

A/N: Attempting to include humor, I forgot that it was an aspect till this morning, lmk If it just disrupts the flow or if its acc funny.

E/N: That was humor?

A/N: An attempt at it sure, it's kinda hard to be funny in a novel I'm ngl.

"Even if I were to attack you with the intent to kill, I wouldn't win if using Mana was off limits like it was here. But more importantly..."

Then, he stood up and dusted himself off before glaring at me.

"You... can copy attacks... just by seeing them?"

I then realized that I had forgotten about the whole hiding my abilities thing, especially the copy ability I had. You see, in my old world, I used to be told to copy my enemies and use their moves against them as it would crush their soldiers' morale, to see their strongest soldiers be torn apart by their own moves.

"Perhaps. Or perhaps I happen to be familiar with Judo."

"Is that so? Then who taught you how to fight? Because either you had an excellent teacher, or... you're a freak of nature who's been gifted with both a blessed body and a mind brilliant enough to comprehend the inner workings and principles behind a move that's being used on you."

I looked at him in the eyes.

"Teacher? Well I suppose there's no point in hiding it since you know so much already, but yes I can copy, and I've never had someone teach me anything to do with fighting."

"Now then, tell me what you promised."

He smiled and put a hand on my shoulder.

"I won't be telling you anything."

Then, I kicked his ribs, using Mana and Demon's Breath along with perfect technique, creating the most painful kick I had performed to date, in this world at least. His insides were crushed under the sheer power of my attack, his ribs were shattered and his organs were practically liquefied under the pressure.

He was then sent flying into a wall, causing cracks to form in the walls, then rubble began to drop on him.

"You shitty old man, how fucking dare you? You know, if I were to hate anything in the world, it'd probably be liars."

Then, I walked away before I heard him breathe rather loudly, I also felt his Mana begin to surge. Freeing himself from the rubble, he stood up, he then dashed at me at speeds that I could clearly see.

However, I couldn't react to it. I could only watch as his fist approached my ribs, he was intending on hitting me exactly where I hit him. But, before his fist connected he stopped, creating a large blast of air.

"I'll let this go this one time since I did tease you, but you should learn how to let people finish their sentences. What I meant was that it wouldn't be me who'd tell you everything, it'd be Ana, or rather the principal Anastasia. So go to her office and, in the mean time, I'm going to get a doctor."

"A doctor? Can't you just use healing magic?"

Then, he looked at me as if I was a fucking idiot.

"Did I give you a concussion when we fought? For something like this, I'd need a doctor, regular people can't heal injuries like this. I'm fairly sure you turned my liver into something akin to a mashed potato after all. Now, if you'll excuse me."

Then, he left the room, clutching his right side as blood seeped through his suit. As I was about to leave, I then felt it, I stopped in my tracks and then used weapon creation. Bringing a dozen or so blades into existence, turning around, I faced her.

Anastasia Gorgos, she stood there in silence. Sweat dripped from my forehead, I knew that I couldn't even run if she wanted to fight me.

"Put your weapons away, Child Of Destruction. I haven't come here to fight."
