Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

"I don't know if it will be like this. How would I know that today there will be a meeting of the four kingdoms of each element of life," Rendevis replied without looking back.

"Didn't Oubtree tell you there was going to be this meeting?" The voice again disturbed the senses of hearing Rendevis.

"He didn't tell me about this meeting but there will be a meeting in the water kingdom." Rendevis was silent for a moment, then quickly patted her forehead. But, why was the meeting here instead of the Water kingdom?

"Why here?" Rendevis asked, but the voice was no longer heard. Now the wind was blowing right towards Rendevis.

"What is it, Rendevis? Are you surprised by my presence as well as this friend of mine?" said the man with the white beard, pointing at the mound of earth that was getting higher and higher. The rising and mountainous ground finally broke to reveal the figure of a brown-skinned man with slightly curly hair, round eyes, and a height shorter than Rendevis.

Rendevis shrank a little. Why should he be stuck in a problem that he doesn't know the end of? "I am surprised?" Rendevis did not answer but instead gave a question back. "The answer is true. I'm is very surprised. What's with you guys? Have you guys agreed to trap me here?" Rendevis acted like he was the victim here.

The curly-haired man chuckled. "You are the Rendevis I know, but I doubt you. Is it true that you know nothing, Rendevis?"

Rendevis's brow furrowed. Who exactly is this curly-haired man? How can he recognize me when I don't remember him at all?

The man with curly hair tilted his head left and then right, raising his eyebrows. "Desert. Cobra. Arrow in the head." The man mentioned something, like giving a hint to Rendevis.

Rendevis rubbed her pointed chin many times, connecting her memory with the words the curly-haired man said. The white-bearded man threw a stone at the curly-haired man's head. "Do you still want to play some more, Landelt?"

The man called Landelt groaned, rubbing his head that had been hit by the stone. He then kicked the ground in front of him, causing Rendevis to quickly close his eyes. "You suck, Rendevis. Your memory sucks!" he said angrily

Rendevis laughed. He opened his eyes and then with a mocking look he replied to Landelt's words. "You suck! So many arrows but you only managed to kill one cobra?" Finally, Rendevis managed to remember the figure of the curly-haired youth standing across from him.

"What are you saying??! If it wasn't for you telling all the cobras to leave that time, I would have slaughtered them all. You traitor!" shouted Landelt as he drew his sword.

"Wow Wow wow! Calm down mate, calm down! Why don't we talk about all of that here, what's more, it happened a long time ago, but you still hold a grudge in your heart. You know, revenge is not good for your body and soul. Slowly but surely, they will eat away at your abilities and erode your mystic knowledge. You will not be able to read the signs of nature because you have a grudge in your heart."

"Don't talk too much, Rendevis!" shouted Landelt and took one step forward with a long sword drawn in front of his chest.

Rendevis turned around, running as fast as possible to avoid Landelt's pursuit. Rendevis didn't want to take her sword out of its place. He wouldn't do that if he wasn't desperate.

"Put out your sword, Rendevis! Face me! Let's fight it out! We determine who is the strongest among us!" roared Landelt. The man was annoyed. All this time, Rendevis had always relented and didn't become a real opponent whenever they met and competed against each other.

"Bring out Lordess Faith, Rendevis! Don't be a coward!" Landelt screamed in desperation. His passionate desire to defeat Rendevis made him forget the meeting his father, Oleds Landelt, was about to attend.

Suddenly there was a roar from heaven and earth. Lightning flashed, the wind howled again creating a huge vortex like a trumpet that pointed upwards. Meanwhile, the ground began to shake. This time the tremors were more intense, causing the ground around them to split apart, causing several trees to collapse under the crushed ground.

"Rendeviiiiis!" A deep voice full of emphasis, made Rendevis nearly fall to the ground. His troops remained silent. They clearly remember the rules of their leader. No matter what happened before him, they should not interfere in the slightest. All they had to do was be quiet and act as if they didn't know, even though they could hear and see what was happening so clearly.

Rendevis cursed again in his heart. Why did he have to meet that annoying old man right now?! I will never grant his wish! Whatever that is!

"Have you forgotten our agreement?" The voice echoed again. Rendevis acted as if he had not heard the voice.

The sword at his waist suddenly shook violently. Rendevis held onto the hilt of the sword with all her might.

"I will never take you out of your place. You can't go outside. This is not the time for you to get out of your place. I ask. Don't make me say those words again or you'll freeze for another hundred years!" Rendevis continued to hold the hilt of her sword.

Rendevis continued to hold onto the hilt of her sword with all her might. His lips kept mumbling, I don't know what spell he was chanting. He kept running away from the ever-widening whirlwind, chasing himself wherever he ran.

This scene made Landelt gape. Wow! Who is Rendevis' enemy this time? Why had he never met a great opponent like Rendevis? Landelt is feeling jealous. This meant that Rendevis' knowledge had far surpassed him.

"Why did you come here, old geezer? Stop being so annoying!" shouted Rendevis still running while holding the hilt of his sword which kept shaking violently.

"Who made me like this?" The voice echoed again, causing everyone present to cover their ears at once.

"It wasn't me who did it, but you chose to be like this," Rendevis replied, accelerating his run. Why is he so unlucky today?

The vibrations of Rendevis' sword grew more intense. "Get me out, Rendevis. Let me settle this grudge against the old man." The sword made a sound.

"No! No!! I won't act stupid again like that time. In the past, you also said the same thing, but what happened, you made a mess and took innocent lives. No! I will not comply with your wishes." Rendevis still held the hilt of his sword.

"You two are the same. Do not take the life of a person or any other living creature, which is not sinful."

"Rendeviiiiiiis!" The howling wind got louder and louder. Lightning continued to strike, and a roll of black clouds suddenly appeared uninvited. Rendevis frowned. He suddenly stopped running.

"What do you want to come here for? Why did you persuade the king of the Wind Kingdom to bother me? Are you not satisfied with the punishment I gave you earlier?" Rendevis suddenly remembered something. "Are you also going to attend the meeting in the Water Kingdom?

"I have no interest in them. I want you to give Lordess Faith to me." The voice replaced the sound of the wind that previously sounded so terrible to the ears of anyone who heard it.

"What do you want Lordess Faith for? You can't hold anything anymore. Your physique has been destroyed by Lordess Faith. You can't touch it."

"Let him touch me, Rendevis. He did not yet understand the meaning of the second life given to him in his current form. It seems he's tired of living." Lordess Faith's voice came again.

"But I can't afford to accept the energy transfer. I'm not in a good condition," said Rendevis. He didn't like receiving the Old Grandpa, Wemble's energy.

"I will help you. If you can receive the energy, then your ability to understand natural language will increase even more." Without waiting for Rendevis's answer, Lordess Faith made an even louder vibration, causing Rendevis' grip to slip from the hilt of the sword. The sword with a length of approximately eighty centimeters, and the hilt of the sword is jet black, it comes out of the scabbard, jumps, and immediately flies towards the rotating air loop, until finally the air loop which has begun to weaken, scatters and disappears.

However, moments later a beam of white light entered Rendevis' body, causing her body to shake violently causing the man to fall until his knees supported his entire body. Sweat dripped from his forehead and almost all over his body. Rendevis finally fell unconscious and Lordess Faith herself fell right beside Rendevis.

Seeing Rendevis fall unconscious, Landelt immediately ran towards Rendevis. He saw Rendevis' face which was full of sweat and pale. "Hey! Wake up, Rendevis! What you're doing this time isn't funny at all. Come on, Hurry up! I don't want to carry your body." Landelt continued to shake Rendevis' defenseless body.

Landelt looked at Lordess Faith. "Heh, you damn sword! You're useless! Do something! Your master is dying, and yet you remain motionless, doing nothing." Londelt was about to kick the pitch-black sword.

"Don't try to lure me! If you still love your life, stay away from here." Lordess Faith gave Landelt a stern warning. Landelt instantly retreated from the side of the black sword.
