I turned my head and a smile instantly crept into my lips.
I don't know, but it automatically makes me happy whenever I see him.
He was the sunshine that I longed to see on a rainy day. His smile always brightens up my days.
With him, I am free.
With him, I am ME!
"Do you want some of these?" I raised my head to get a clearer view of his cute cheeky face.
I just nodded and smiled. He then instantly gave me an apple before patting my head.
Zane. He always acts like a big brother to everyone, even to me, even when we were at the same age. He always defends anyone when they're bullied.
I always think that I am very lucky to be considered as his friend.
"Are you thinking about your favorite cartoons again?"
"Of course not!" I argued. I wasn't even thinking about it.
"I'm telling you, it's much better if you spend your time reading instead," I shook my head as he began preaching to me again. But that's great because Zane wouldn't be Zane if he wasn't scolding me for doing stupid things.
"Okay. Okay, I got it"
"You always say that but still don't listen," he replied, shaking his head.
"Let's go." I panicked at what he said and instantly grabbed his hand to stop him. I still want to see the sun setting.
"No, let's wait for the sunset first." I stated, smiling widely for him to agree.
Time really is valuable, and I realized that at such a young age. I always make sure to cherish the moments whenever I am with Zane. I don't know how, but with him I worry about nothing.
"Fine," he said, sounding defeated. That made me smile.
I then focused on looking at the sky, which is now slowly turning orange. It even made me happier that Zane was beside me looking at the sky slowly getting darker.
