"Looking bad as always, Saito." you say, looking into your mirror.

Your hair is a deep white, the scar on your left cheek showing rather well. You're not the best looking guy obviously, but your hair color isn't a common sight in the land, so you get some weird looks every so often.

You make sure your daggers are secure and then lean on the wall before taking out your journal.

My name is Mikashi Saito. I am 20 years old, and a Rogue in the land of Ingrid. I'm one who despises the High Lord. The High Lord is a man who rules the land with an iron clad fist with no care for the safety of his people. The Organization of Rogues was created to combat him but has had little success.

In the past 2 years I've been in this organization, we've lost more individuals than we've had survive. It usually goes the way of Capture and Public Execution or just members leaving, and joining the government to fight for Ingrid.

For background, Ingrids government is protected by layers and layers of Sub-Lords devoted to protection to keep the High Lord alive. You can think of them as a protective brick wall. We must kill each Sub Lord brick by brick until we reach the High Lord. There are 8 Sub-Lords, each increasing in strength until the one before the high Lord.

Number 8: Frederick. At first a soldier for Ingrid, rose the ranks, and proved his worth. He commands a few small detachments of soldiers, and carries a large greatsword. He has battle scars along his face, and is guarded rather well.

Number 7: Soldei: A hunter who was at point a Commoner, but performed top marks at the Archer Tests, and was picked up by Ingrid to defend him. Carries a bow and dagger.

Number 6: Shaja: A rogue that betrayed the organization. He took down our leader, Goma, 5 years ago, and joined Ingrid, afterwards becoming one of his better Sub-Lords. Carries a set of Daggers, and is a master of movement.

Number 5: Hade: A Knight who proved himself in front of Ingrid. He's not very impressive, but can hold is own rather well in a battle. He Carries a lance, and has a massive scar on his forehead.

Number 4: Sai: Known as "Ingrid's Butcher", Sai is a master of the katana and pure swordsmanship. She is an impressive fighter, and will prove difficult for the organization to take out.

Now for the High 3 Sub-Lords. These are the people we have put the most time and the most effort into to find out about, but they're rather difficult to find.

Number 3: Asima: "The Pretender". A deception artist, and is said to be the devil herself. We haven't been able to track her for awhile, and by what the organization has heard, prefers to operate from sight. By what we know, she uses her mind, rather than a physical weapon.

Number 2: Daka: "The High Priest". A man who uses the gods to his advantage. A firm believer of the spirits. He is a lead figure of the corrupted church system, and is well protected. Daka seems to use a holy weapon to strike down his opponents.

Number 1: Bamae: "Ingrids Right-Hand". Bamae is despised by the people, and uses a spear as his main weapon. Bamae by what we know was a Gladiator in the battlefields of Ingrid, and is the lands best fighter. He is said to be unbeatable.

I have two partners I work with. The first being Teru, a battle tested Male Rogue, being from the land of Astrei, a place that was once distraught with corruption and crime, but Teru became a legendary figure of Astrei for saving the land, and introducing required reform.

Teru has a half bandaged face, rather short, and has decently long hair. His main skill is deception. He can envelop himself inside corrupt government spaces easily, and can find his target in only days by just acting like an official.

My other partner is a Female Rogue, by name of Amane. She is best at just upfront, total killing, an absolute brute in fights, and I've never seen her with an injury after one of them. The type of Rogue to be against 6 men and still survive. She originates from Ingrid like myself, although I've only known her for a few years, just before joining the organization, only by pure accident.

Amane is a slim build, with a long black cloak. she has long brown hair, and a small scar on her forehead, and is about my height.

"Saito! Stop writing in your journal and let's go!" says Teru.
