Vernon was busy in his office, as always. He was ten times busier than before because he had to accelerate some of his projects and plans to take advantage of the situation created by Dorothea before.
Now that his Big brother would be occupied for at least three months, he had a lot of meetings with Vincent's business partners. They were starting to jump ship and cooperate with Vernon because they had already sniffed the instability in the Gray company, so they had to save themselves first before that century-old company started crumbling.
Vernon had just finished a meeting with two more of Vincent's business partners and struck a quick deal with both of them for his next project. He checked his watch and sighed, "Almost five. I got to leave now after handling one more project with Diamond. I don't want Chloe to wait for too long for our dinner."
