"What happened?"
Devyn brought the question first. Seeing the problem in the guy's eyes. Even if he wants to hide it, she will always read what's on his mind just by looking at him.
"Selene got into the university she wanted," he replied.
"That's great! Congratulations to her." she leaned closer and gave Kiel another confused expression. "What's wrong?"
By hearing that question, Kiel knew that he had got caught already. No matter what he did to hide his face, Devyn will always find it quickly.
"Nothing much, President. She's just worried about the expenses. The rent was also raised and father was running out of medicine." he explained.
Devyn trapped his shoulder. "I told you, if you need something, you can ask me. Mr Kiel, are you underestimating me?" she said.
