Doctor Casler gave Devyn a bottle of water while Kiel gave her tissues. Devyn can't even explain why she cried. Is being a mother giving you these feelings? She didn't know. Does Evelyn feel this way when she has her too?
Doctor Casler cleared her throat and went back to her desk. Aside from delivering them the gender of the child, she still had something she needed to clarify to them.
"The child looks healthy. I'm thankful even though she had a stubborn mom."
She irked an eyebrow to Devyn before proceeding. She flipped the folders and adjusted her glass, reading the results once again. It's not that she wanted them to worry. The child looks healthy and moving well inside her stomach, but the strong blood of Kiel can't be denied.
