After talking with Wulf, Toz went over to Joshua and the cats to make sure they also knew about his accomplishments. After that, he went around greeting and talking to all his old friends and acquaintances. The relaxed and leisurely attitude of the party, which was both a goodbye and a hello, was a nice change of pace after the intense war.
But Toz couldn't get himself to relax completely. And he was sure it was the same with the cats. The war was supposed to be a way for Dyra to bring them to the Transcendent Realm and help them find and save Taienra.
Thanks to Kahglia, they would still get to the Transcendent Realm, and they might even get some help from the Mountain King, depending on the results of their talks with him. But it would be a lot more challenging to save Taienra from the Obsidian Empire without Dyra's promised help. There was also the fact that Dyra's betrayal, whether intentional or not, left a bitter feeling in Toz's chest.
