"YGGDRASIL"
As soon as I saw the word YGGDRASIL on the screen, my racing thoughts and growing anxiety suddenly came to a halt. YGGDRASIL, the vast virtual world where the supreme being known as the momonga had grown and honed his powers, now loomed before me like a towering monolith of knowledge and power.
The mere sight of these ancient runes sent shivers down my spine. My heart pounded in my chest as I reached out to touch the inscriptions, and to my amazement, my hand passed right through them.
I struggled to remember what had happened before I ended up here, but all I could recall was the sensation of drowning. I took a deep breath, only to realize that I didn't need to breathe at all.
With a sudden realization, I opened my eyes and beheld the breathtaking beauty of the mythical tree of life, standing tall and majestic before me. Its branches stretched out into infinity, and I knew that I had been given a second chance at life.
I sobbed, the tears streaming down my face as I struggled to believe what I was seeing. I had been given a second chance, a reprieve from the fate that had been looming over me. But was it real? Was this some cruel trick, a twisted game played by a deity with a sick sense of humor?
I sat there, sniffling and wiping the tears from my eyes, trying to make sense of it all. Finally, with a deep breath, I steeled myself and reached out to the corner of the screen that displayed [YGGDRASIL]. My fingers trembled as I logged out, unsure of what to expect.
As the helmet slipped from my head, I felt a strange sensation. It was as if I had woken from a dream, disoriented and unsure of where I was. But at least I was alive. And for that, I was grateful.
I tried to remove it, but it became entangled in a cord attached to my nape.
After nearly ripping it out in disgust, I calmed down and slowly pulled the cord out. "Ahhn," I moaned, feeling something tickle my spine. Like peeing after a long nap.
As the helmet slipped from my head, I felt a strange sensation wash over me. It was as if I had just awoken from a dream, disoriented and unsure of where I was. But despite this, I was grateful. At least I was alive.
I tried to remove the helmet, but it became tangled in a cord that was attached to the back of my neck. After struggling to free it for a moment, I took a deep breath and calmed myself down. Slowly, I pulled the cord out, letting out a relieved sigh as I felt it slide out of my hair.
I looked around, taking in my surroundings. I was sitting in a large, comfortable chair, so big that my feet didn't touch the ground. I felt like I was sitting on clouds, and the chair seemed to incline slightly, making me feel cozy and relaxed.
As I sat there, taking in the strange, surreal feeling of being alive and aware after what must have been a long nap, I couldn't help but be grateful. I had survived, and for that, I was truly thankful.
As I reluctantly got out of the cozy chair, I took in my surroundings, and what I saw left me dumbfounded. I was standing in a large, empty room, with only a bed and a desk with a computer on it.
The computer was unlike anything I had ever seen before. It was ultra-thin, with no keyboard in sight. Instead, it seemed to have a holographic keyboard projected onto its surface.
I looked down at the floor, and was surprised to see that it was made of gleaming white marble. It was so shiny that it seemed to almost be slick to the touch, and I realized that I was still wearing my socks.
It was a strange and surreal scene, one that I couldn't quite wrap my head around. Here I was, in this stark, high-tech room, with no idea how I had gotten there or what was going on. I felt disoriented and confused, but also strangely intrigued by the mystery of it all.
As I stood in the room, I couldn't help but notice that I had grown taller. The realization sent a thrill of excitement coursing through my veins. I quickly scanned the room, my eyes darting around until they landed on a door. Without hesitation, I lunged towards it, gripping the handle with all my might.
With a burst of energy, I swung the door open, letting it crash against the wall behind it. I didn't care about the noise I was making. All that mattered was getting away from this place. I sprinted down the corridor, feeling my heart pounding in my chest. My socks provided little traction on the smooth, marble floor, but I didn't let that slow me down. I was determined.
As I sprinted down the hallway, my heart pounding in my chest, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. I could see the end of the hallway, and as soon as I reached it, I was amazed by what I saw. The entire wall was made up of windows, offering a stunning view of the city outside.
I took a moment to catch my breath, my eyes scanning the room. To my left, I saw a massive king-size bed, while to my right was a fully-equipped kitchen. But those weren't the only things that caught my attention. My gaze was drawn to the view outside the windows.
I could tell that I was still in Tokyo, despite the fact that the city had changed dramatically since I last saw it. The advertisements that covered every surface were more advanced and more intricate than anything I had seen before. But that wasn't the most impressive thing. The entire city was shrouded in a thick layer of smog, confirming my suspicions that I had somehow been transported to the world of Overlord.
I felt a thrill of excitement as I took in my surroundings. I had no idea what was in store for me, but I was ready for whatever came my way.

I quickly made my way across the spacious loft, my eyes scanning the room for a bathroom. I spotted a door that looked promising and approached it, my heart pounding in my chest. I pushed the door open, and to my delight, it led to a luxurious bathroom.
I stepped inside, taking in the gleaming fixtures and marble surfaces. I walked over to the large mirror that was mounted on the wall and gazed at my reflection. I was shocked by what I saw. My jawline was more defined than I remembered, and my eyes seemed to have grown just a little bit bigger. My nose was surprisingly normal, but in a good way. My hair was sleek and long, and my eyes were a striking shade of green with hints of yellow. My lips were full and pink, and my eyelashes were long and lustrous. I was lean and muscular, with enough definition to have a six-pack, but not so much that I looked overly buff.
I couldn't believe how different I looked. I felt a surge of excitement and pride as I took in my new appearance.
I looked dashing. I tried not to think about it... I was excited because I knew I'd have a new appearance and be a completely different being after Yggdrasil ended. After leaving the bathroom, I went into the living room and sat down on the king-size bed, but as soon as my cheeks touched the fabric, I got a migraine.
'Arrggh' I gritted my teeth; it didn't hurt as much as my tumor headaches, but it felt like someone had shoved a massive chunk of information into my brain.
It took me a minute to calm down after that. Thankfully, I didn't get this information while I was frantically running around, whoever put me here obviously wanted me to like it. If I had a migraine while running around, I would have slipped and cracked my head open.
''Well, whoever you are, thank you,' I thought as I bowed my head slightly.
So, let's go over what I was given. I closed my eyes and reflected on the information I had received.
'Oh, that's lovely.' The information contained instructions on how to use four different weapons: a bow, a sword, and gauntlets. as well as a spear
I could already see how I would put each one to use.
'OK,' I said as I rose from my comfortable bed and returned to the room where I had been when I awoke.
Already having disgusted the room and its wonders. I sat back down in the most comfortable chair in the world and put on the helmet attached to it; it had declined itself when I got off, so it took about 2 seconds for it to incline again. After pumping myself up, I inserted the cord from behind the helmet into the hole in my nape. That'll never get old.
Just as before, my senses vanished and then reappeared, but this time I couldn't feel myself in a chair or the helmet I was wearing. I was floating, and the words in front of me were making my heart race with adrenaline. [YGGDRASIL]
When I lightly tapped the icon, it prompted me to log in. My hands moved on their own and I typed in an email and password as if I were possessed. I tried to memorize the password and email as I typed in case I forgot them, and then I clicked the Log In button.
I felt slightly nauseous, and then I was warped to a completely different location. Before, I was floating in a cloud-like area, but now I was in a room, a large white room, and I wasn't the only one here.
However, everyone was white, like a blank canvas white, and they had no faces or distinguishing features; they appeared to be tapping on floating consoles. 'Where's mine?' a console appeared in front of me, as if to answer my question.

This was something I had to think about. I've never given much thought to my race; I'm split between being a Vampire and an Angel.
So, after what seemed like hours of deliberation, the majority of the people on this plane with me had already departed. Those who stayed were probably those who, like me, were deciding what they wanted to be..
So, after becoming irritated with myself for wasting time, I finally decided on one.
It was…
