Nadia led them through the long hallway until finally they came upon a door, she pushed it open and they stepped into the empty room that held a myriad of artworks and comfortable-looking sofas. The windows were wide open filling in the room with bright lights from outside, on the ceiling were rows and rows of blinding white lights. Annalise felt momentarily blinded but nonetheless, it was a beautiful sight.
She never knew a room like this existed in Nicolás's home but there were, of course, many other rooms she hadn't ever ventured into and she wasn't sure she would like to.
She watched as Nadia made her way to the seat closer to the window and settled herself on it, folding her arms across her chest.
