She had never been to Benjamin's room and as soon as Annalise stepped foot into it, her anxiety surged. It was more humongous than she'd thought and she had no idea where to start her search from. She had no idea what she was searching for even but she knew with no doubt that Benjamin was hiding something and that whatever it was would be there.
Her eyes took in the room once more. It had been hard enough pretending to be unable to walk.
At first, it wasn't pretend, she really couldn't walk but a few days later, she woke up and forgot her predicament. She had gotten out of bed on her own and fallen head-first on the floor. It had hurt but she had realized that she hadn't fallen immediately so she'd gotten up with support from the wall and had managed to walk around her room before exhaustion seeped in. Decidedly, Annalise had kept that one knowledge to herself.
