She was sweltering under the city's scorching sun. It was hot outside and Annalise was tagging alongside her mother and sister for Laura's wedding shopping. It had hit her as an equal surprise too, she'd had no idea Laura had gotten over her thoughts of getting married to Leonardo.
"So…" she asked excitedly as they furrowed the million wedding shops in Milan. "How did you meet him?"
Laura turned to her, a smile on her face. She has been smiling for the last hour, flaunting her ring, and kept on talking about Simon, her seemingly perfect fiancé.
