"What happened? Tell me, please. What did you do to her?" His mother urged, crying profusely. He ignored her and simply sat stoic, staring at nothing in particular.
His head was filled with thoughts of what had happened. He hated this, hated that there was someone other than himself he had to fend for, it was quite provoking and a whole lot of tiring.
His eyes looked up when the doctor walked out of the room, he was a grey-haired short man with his glasses perched on his nose. Nicolás watched his mother hurry towards him.
"She is fine, don't worry. She simply went unconscious from shock, I'll advise you to let her rest and don't exert her." The man said.
His mother nodded slowly before turning to him, anger in her expression. He took in a breath and stood up, if she wasn't his mother…
"Come back here! Nicolás!" She called after him but he was already halfway through the hallway and headed towards the door.
