"You should go to bed," Nicolás said, heading to the kitchen.
Annalise plopped down on the sofa, her eyes going to glance at the wall clock - it was a few minutes past midnight. She was tired but sleep was the last thing her body craved, not after the whole incident with Dino. Her anxiety had completely dissipated the sleep craving from her system.
"I don't feel like sleeping." And maybe a little part of her was worried Alfredo Caruso wasn't done with her and that while they were sleeping, someone would crawl up her window and finish up Dino's job.
Nicolás turned to her with a curious look. "Trouble sleeping?"
She chuckled. "I am the one person who has the least trouble sleeping that I know."
A ghost of a smile reflected on his lips as he approached, he handed her a glass before settling himself opposite her.
