Annalise was still too shaken to say a word but added to that was the fact that Nicolás had swooped her in his arms and that his hands were currently wrapped around her and he led them back inside the hospital. She buried her face against his chest, allowing the rhythmic rise and fall of it to soothe the fears she had felt and was still feeling.
She could still see Dino's eyes watching her, and she could still feel the pain where his fingers had dug into her skin as he pulled her along.
"He was taking me to Mr. Alfredo Caruso." She said to Nicolás in a small voice, even her voice was shaky but he had to know who was behind her almost kidnap.
"I know that," Came his reply as he cornered into the VIP waiting room his family was in. Annalise felt them all go silent at her and Nicolás's reappearance. He set her down on one of the chairs before turning to where the Carusos were seated.
Luca was seated next to his mother, sandwiched between her and his uncle.
