Luciana stared back at Astrid in shock. She had never seen the girl this mad, she had always remained calm in the face of everything. She was either smiling or looking sad, there had been no in-between for her, and not even the time she had slapped her for having her own ego bruised, so to see her this enraged had Luciana staring at someone almost unrecognizable.
"I might be willing to quietly endure all the insults you've hauled on Nicolás but I'm sorry but comparing him to Don Roberto is where I draw the line." Her breathing came out ragged. "Nicolás is a better man than Don Roberto could ever be. Don Roberto is the devil himself and you shouldn't compare Nicolás to him, I'm aware Nicolás has his faults but he is a far better man than his father could ever dream of being."
